Correct me but this literally opens with the sound of turbo whistle.

If anything the GT2 clip supports this being turbo’d even more.
Sounds more like braking to me... and then you don't hear any hint of kind of turbo whistle for the rest of the clip, apart from when it is close the GT2 Mule car.... also the downshifts and then hard accelerations sound NA clean to my ear.2018 at Monza

I don't hear the whistle, just brakes/engine noise/tyre squeal?2018 at Monza

Lower bassier note, slightly muffled sound and what appears to be lower revs/short-shifting would imply a turbo engine but it's not like this GT2-based mule:

I'm going to say it's a NA, but one that seems to be very restricted in revs and tuned for midrange torque rather than top end scream.
Compared to the 2015 clip of the GT4 CS that sounds ste!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsKStob3Cwc

Not boding well for the next GT4 at the moment in my humble opinion. We want more revs not less.
I'm wondering whether as it's in all probability a 4.0 version of the 3.8, that it's just not going to rev as well as the old 3.8?
Possibly due to emissions too and the particle filter, they might be concentrating more on the torque aspect rather than top end giving a different character to the engine?
Hanging onto my GT4 in case its a disaster!

I think its going to be a disaster. Everyone should rush out and get the gen 1 now while they're so cheap!
Glad to say that I had already read your mind on that one mate. The way this is going ... a 430 bhp 3.8 could be more appealing then a 414 bhp 4.0l ....
Now how cute could that comparison be ??
Regarding the rear suspension .... there can't be so much wrong with the GT4 when it will max load Cup2's at over 1.5g on both sides without the banking of Shell Oils ???
That was my experience at Donnington ...
