No unfortunately not. We usually only manage one trip over each year. This one will combine Spa and Zolder.
Really liked Zolder in the GT4 when I did that a couple of years ago thumbup

I was offered £77k for mine last week from an OPC. 8k miles and good mid spec car with nav, lights, fixed buckets and leather.

Keep it. Next ones turbo I've been told from some who has returned from Weissach.

Sorrreee but you’ve been told wrong there - the clubsport is already testing and it’s NA therefore the GT4 will be likewise

Yep. Another Weissach visitor also claims NA.

I'll be surprised if this guy is wrong. I hope he is because I love NA.

Can't really go into detail of who and what etc, but will be interested to see what it comes as.

If the club sport is NA, so will be the GT4 (for homologation).

The only way it won’t be is if Porsche have been engaged on the worlds biggest ruse and tested a NA CS to fool us all.........really? Nope, me neither

Why can't someone just take a photo from the ground peaking under the car so we can see the sump pan?

All these people who photographed it in the flesh and nobody thought to spy on the engine?

Frustrating.

No need - it'll be a 4.0 NASP six for sure.

We can still learn a lot about the engine still, engine architecture, oil system, GPF layout etc, even if it's 4.0 N/A.

Until the press release happens nothing is final, it's laughable how big this thread has become, delete all the "someone I know said" and we'd have about 5 pages of actual fact/useful info.

Sounds a bit early if the car isn't due until next Spring.

However, given what look like completed mules kicking around, including winter testing alongside the GT3RS earlier this year, and the need for the Clubsport version to racing in early 2019 a launch might not be that far away?

Heard dealers are thinking about allocations. Hope everyone has been buying gold panamera turbos to secure a slot.
I would imagine they are all already allocated

I believe USA race teams are still expecting delivery of Clubsport Rennwagen in time to run in the Roar which is very early January 2019, I assume road GT4 announcement will follow soon thereafter

The new Aston Vantage’s are likely to be homologated around March. Unless the new Cayman GT4 racecar is at least 3.8 turbo it’s not going to be competitive - and we’ve been there already.

You do realise there's something called balance of performance? A relatively small capacity NA engine didn't exactly hurt the GT3R at the N24 or the RSR at le mans as you might have noticed......

I was never expecting to hear about this car until July / goodwood anyway.
Agree..!! Mods just need to remove the “sooner than you think” bit, and all will be good.... wink

...... Or even better— Change it to “We still know almost nothing about the 718 GT4.....” wink

BoP is fixed, FORD won on there special day, Porsche won on their 70th Birthday. Astons were 4 seconds off the place a lap and the RSR could drive straight past the Ford GT

So yes we have BoP, but then we now have fixed races due to it !!
