I thought the Speedster was Goodwood? I know they're announced a concept, confirmation of production would be next?
Goodwood was for the Speedster being and anniversary car, and the Frankfurt for the GT4 in time for the new race season. GT2 RS was showcased at Goodwood last year, but it was already announced, spec known, before the show - that was just first time the public realy saw it running.

You mean Paris, not Frankfurt.GT2 RS was showcased at Goodwood last year, but it was already announced, spec known, before the show - that was just first time the public realy saw it running.
IMHO Goodwood will be the Speedster Concept only... first public driving debut.
Too soon for production debut. Porsche has stated it isn’t due until 2019.

But they will also have 992 debut? So will that affect it?
The problem is though, given all the emissions hoohah are Porsche ready to launch a lower volume product? I've just checked, and it looks like 718 base/S/GTS models are able to be configured for orders again along with Panameras/Cayennes/Macans etc, but I don't know if build slots are available yet.
Is there space to squeeze in approval for the GT4 and get build slots scheduled for late 2018/early 2019?

As I mentioned in Feb (I think)... GT4 is pencilled for global announcement at Goodwood FoS - July was the month.
Just a guess from a marketing perspective:
1. July is the latest they can announce the GT4 and Goodwood is good fit for a good old manual experience car.
2. Speedster will have second life publicity at very end of 991.2 production.
3. No way I see Porsche announcing anything "old platform" after the 992, which must be this year, so they are running out of time.
Henceforth.... if GT4 is not a FoS - there's a big problem, and chances it comes out at all may be under question. GT4 has been ready for a very long time.
be at Geneva 2019 imo as alwaysJust a guess from a marketing perspective:

The new gt4 will have the particulate filter which will effect performance, it will be 4lt n/a with hopefully the option to spec manual or pdk and will have a bhp output of around 420bhp.
Pricing is going to increase over the old gt4 and cars will apparently turn up by the start of next year, based this on a 3 month build time this car needs to be launched pretty quickly.
Goodwood maybe to soon, IMO it will just appear on the Porsche configuration system and hype will naturally build around it.
Anyone been lucky enough to be confirmed a new car from the supplying dealer?
