Each OPC is different. You need to register interest in whatever way that OPC is handling it.
They tell me they don't do it in any way just yet so I'm assuming it can only be done once the car has been officially launched. Then the sales manager decides who gets allocation....Ching Ching time

I’ve been asked by my OPC to place my intent in writing (email), including a copy of my passport. This is a non-UK OPC.Then the sales manager decides who gets allocation....Ching Ching time

I'd say to at least be in with a chance, you should send them an e-mail anyway just to officially register your interest in buying one, if available. Then the sales manager decides who gets allocation....Ching Ching time

I cannot see it, the last one was £64k the GT3 went up 10k so even with a GT3 type rise that's £74k still under the £77 base 911.
I also don't see a £10k rise maybe 7 or 8 is my guess so £72k a neat £20k above a GTS.
And a long way above the £52k 718 GTS.
Sterling has taken a nose dive against the Euro since the original GT4 was priced. Remembering this is a German car, don’t be surprised if they start wanting to recoup the exchange rate losses from punters, assuming they think they can find buyers. This isn’t altruism. And for a price nearing £80k, people would still snap up every last one. I’m not saying it’s definitive, but don’t be surprised if it happens. Here in Sweden the 991.2 GT3 went up nearly £25k compared to its predecessor (due to currency shifts), and it didn’t have even the slightest effect on sales.

I registered my interest a long time ago via email and I'm on my Sales Associate's "list". Once the car is launched I'll be in touch with them regarding an allocation, or not, as the case may be.Then the sales manager decides who gets allocation....Ching Ching time

I registered interest for the 718 GT4 back in 2016 with my OPC! And I still keep in touch with the sales guy regularly. In a recent email communication with them a couple of weeks back he said interest has been mega. if you have built up a relationship with your OPC (usually means buying new Porsche's) then you might stand a chance.
Yeah I won’t be holding my breath !Maybe the new car will put pressure on the older model and I’ll buy one of those instead

Go for it, great cars. I really miss mine. I would have kept it if OPC had been upfront and told me i wouldn't be getting a GT3 allocation.Maybe the new car will put pressure on the older model and I’ll buy one of those instead

The guy who owns this has had a lot of GT and special products apparently. He flips them all and drives them very little
Correct on all counts..He's recently flipped a new GT3, GT2RS, GT3RS, Turbo exclusive, all with a maximum of a few hundred miles and sometimes hardly any miles,I bet he'll get the new Speedster to flip straight away..It leaves a very sour taste in my mouth and on the back of that i'm considering switching to another OPC which is fairer in its allocation process..Time will tell but will probably buy a 488 or Performante next spring to avoid partaking in these stupid games..

I have to say that is absolutely infuriating and will probably contravene all sorts of legislation around bribery. It would be nice for Porsche UK/Germany or a government body to put a stop to this abuse ; at worst it’s legal, at best it’s immoral.I bet he'll get the new Speedster to flip straight away..It leaves a very sour taste in my mouth and on the back of that i'm considering switching to another OPC which is fairer in its allocation process..Time will tell but will probably buy a 488 or Performante next spring to avoid partaking in these stupid games..

You have got a .2 gt3 from the opc and iirc been verbally promised a WP 3RS (unsure if you didn't take a non WP 1st batch to do so) and you're complaining about the OPC allocation process? I'm just saying its a crying shame that all the super rare GT Porsches goes to the same buyer every time, who very clearly has no interest whatsoever in either owning or driving said cars..I'm NOT saying that i should be getting the next one, just somebody different and even more deserving than myself. In terms of getting a GT3 my OPC got at least 15 that i know about..You have a nasty habit of twisting peoples posts to satisfy your own agenda, whatever that is...!

We've covered this before here on PH, but in my view any arranged 'deal' that benefits both parties and provides someone with something they wouldn't otherwise get is bribery. In some industries, such as the one I work in, we have training on what can and can't be done and you'd be surprised at how strict the regulations are.If the flipping is pre-arranged as part of the allocation process, and it financially (or otherwise) benefits both the buyer and the OPC, then I would suspect it's bribery under the strict letter of the law. If the OPC just happen to keep giving allocations to the same person and they happen to keep flipping then it's not. It's just coincidence.

Au contraire, merely constantly impressed at the lack of self awareness of some people...You have a nasty habit of twisting peoples posts to satisfy your own agenda, whatever that is...!
