I didn't realise ownership of a .2 gt3rs makes one any more or less likely to be correct about the launch date of the next gen gt4. Good for you that you own that car though since you felt the need to state it.....

Don’t presume, those are your thoughts.... not mine. I was stating that as I now don’t own a GT4 (sold it 2weeks ago) that people on this thread may a better idea. However I will 100% be quoting you, as you said, in due course when it’s not released.! Or I’ll be eating my words

Are those centerlocks?

GT2 RS style front splitter....looks like it will be more expensive to replace.... front axle lift better be an option.

I've checked the actual Instagram post and zoomed in I cannot see a centrelock, just an oddly shaped plastic cover.

I remain confident the car will be shown at LA, as per whoopsy. I am gracious that he shares some information with us. He's just too well connected.

well, at least people will be able to run them on trackdays without noise limit worries.... still a shame though.
Does seem like this is the new sound of the NA engines though as there is a 992 GT3-like car in that video to which follows closely behind... sounded pretty similar.

Damian Butt from TheCarGuys reckons the new Spyder will have the PU from the GT3.

https://youtu.be/XJVQ6fM_c4U

He mentions it at about 18:50.

People are reporting the 718 clubsport sounds awesome. Due to emissions maybe the road car doesn't sound quite as good, but we all know the tuners can change that.

All well and good, but throwing away your warranty is a big consideration.

I thought the new emission piece also had an effect on the aftermarket?

Does the clubsport have to based on the GT4 or can it be based on the GT4RS?

It can be based on an RS, if an RS is a production model.

In fact the first GT3 RS (996), existed purely as a homolgation run for suspension mounts for the next seasons race car.
