Evening

Just booked my GT4 in for its first service (2 years)
What's the going rate?

For reference I've been quoted 495 and 95 for the brake fluid.

Cheers

Seem to remember it being around £580 + brake fluid when mine went in late October.
Thought it was a bit much… but seeing it as relationship reaffirming with my local OPC for whatever that is worth.

The previous owner of my one had it serviced at an OPC intermediate service £450.42 + VAT all in and had a 10% discount on parts.
Hope that helps.

My 2 year service (interim service and brake fluid change) is due in March so I phoned around a few Porsche dealers - all came back at £590 inc VAT. This is in line with the fixed price servicing on the Porsche UK website.

thanks for the replies...seems what I've been quoted is on the money so to speak.

Not had a Porsche before.

Asked to try something with PDK as my loan car when its in. See what all the fuss is about!

How does one get 10% discount on parts included in a Service?

If you are a member of PCGB you are entitled to the discount its an agreement between Porsche and PCGB.

Some OPC's will even give the discount on labour but you have to ask for it.

So you even get a discount on a 'Fixed price service' ?

If so that's pretty cool. How much does it add up to on a service roughly, do you know?

I've never been a member of Porsche GB before.

Ok cool thanks, makes more sense to be honest.

Dicsount on any parts ever needed for a repair or work outside of fixed price servicing though.

Booked mine in the other week at Silverstone Porsche and was given the same fixed price and no discount for PCGB as it's a fixed price as been said that came in this year I believe to bring all into the same line

Mine was £495 + the brake fluid (as per the fixed priced servicing agreement I believe)

Be interesting to know what they do for all that money on a gt4.
Normal 981 is just oil, filter, seals and brake fluid for the 2 year service.
What else do they do to rack the price so high?
