In the olden days of my 997.1S I used "sport plus" only once and left it at that. To put it bluntly: A car that needs a "sports plus" button is not a full-on sports car. Hence I don't find this silly button in my GT3/RSs...

having just purchased a 10 Boxster S PDK i was wondering the same thing - on the test drive the sales guy was flipping through all the modes to show me what it did - sport plus felt a little too frantic for the uneven country roads we were on at the time. Will try it again once i pick up the car on the ring road grand prix smile

Mixed feelings on sports plus on a PDK car.

On a race track is essential because sport mode is not sufficient and shifting with the paddles defeats the purpose of PDK. But when I really want to get the hammer down on the road and I use sports plus, I find myself becoming frustrated with the super jerky gear changes, the artificial kick and the look at me throttle blips.

Use mine everytime I go out in the car. Along with always driving in manual mode, so I decide when to change gear not the car.
Love the more tensed up feeling of the car/more on edge. Sharper throttle response and higher threshold before PSM kicks in.......hence I now want to trade my GTS in for a GT3.

Sport plus was comical on a PDK Cayman R when I tried it.

Sport plus on the 981 Spyder - brilliant fun.

It’s the only place where Launch Control works so I use it on the road for that...

On track in the dry as it’s too harsh in the wet in my experience..

Typically on road my default is Sport and use paddles to get prepared in advance if needed.
