Wow, they’re some extremely high g you mention - is this peak or sustained and on slicks?

1.1g is good and what I’d expect from a road car.

There’s another video I found of a GTS on track and it’s making some good g:

peak on road tyres. I guessed pretty close then for the GTS ;-)

I'm 6'4" OP and have no issues with headroom in the car. Even with a helmet.

Lol good man!

Yes I couldn’t make sense of your g figures given the similarity of lap times between the GT4 and 718 S . In my experience the tyre footprint isn’t so important for single lap times, for a long race maybe, for enthusiasts I don’t think there’s much difference and certainly don’t share the opinion that biggest is best but am sure everyone will disagree with me!

I found an interesting thread about using a Cayman mostly on track with the guy ending up with -3.5 degrees all round in KW clubsport suspesnion.
I’m probably being stupid but can’t work out if it’s a 718 he’s using or an earlier model though.

If you click on the OP's name and "My Vehicles" all will be clear.

Thanks mate, I think you have to be a member but I’m pretty sure it’s not a 781.
