Cayman 981 Warranty with Porsche

Hi all,

Another question for you.

I have contacted Porsche Wolves about getting a car registered with them under a Porsche warranty, the response i got:

- Must have owned the car for at least 3 months
- Must pass their 111 point check at around £300
- If passes can then obtain warranty for £1200 p/a

Now in all the posts i have read over the last few weeks the 111 point check is around £175 and the warranty is around £690 pa, so have things really gone up or are they chancing their arm?

Mentioning "around" isn't good.

The 111-point check is £217 and the warranty costs £660 for one year or £1270 for two. Porsche Assistance is an extra £169 or £275.

If you can run to it it is cheaper pro rata to take two years cover. The premium is around £100 less per annum than renewing annually and you don’t need the 111 point check every year either - so an annual saving of around £300. Even cheaper if you can time renewal with a service as it approximately halves the cost of the 111 point check
