718 Dipping Reversing Mirror Question

When you put the car into reverse, should both mirrors dip (when enabled) or just the passenger side??

On all cars I’ve owned both the passenger and driver mirror dip when the reverse gear is engaged. But on my new Porsche only one goes down.

Porsche told me that’s how it’s meant to be. And only 1 mirror should dip not both.

One up one down gives the fullest view when reversing. There's only a kerb one side usually.
