Has anyone got any suggestions on which ones are any good and fit the cayman 987

No actual experience but also considering one. From what I've seen online the Sony ones are the cleanest and smartest, but functionality lags behind the Pioneer models.

With Apple Carplay supporting Waze as of this Autumn I'm v interested in upgrading.

Looks like the Pioneer SPH DA120 is one of the best options at a sensible price.

The new model Pioneers look really good.

Android auto all round, dual bluetooth connection and lots more. Also has "network mode", which solves a problem for me with my rubbish 4 speaker base system. Plus Wi-Fi mirroring and dual USB...one for a USB stick or the passengers phone and one for mine.

I am going AVH-Z9100DAB but was seriously tempted by the AVH-Z5100DAB.

I had the SPH-DA100. If you could get your phone to work with it, it was really good.

Will do a write up when the install is done. Bring on pay day!
