Dealer who thinks discount isn't a dirty word
Discussion
Why would they give you a discount when these cars have been on restricted supply for six months or so and have only just re-started production ? Having said that there may be a few stock cars hanging around in OPC's somewhere (dealers were given additional stock during production suspension) if you aren't too fussy about the spec. A ring round may be the only way to find these though . Good luck !!

Look at the number of these cars for sale as approved used cars, they’re not flying out of the showroom, are they?
Of course discount is available, you just have to ask the right person at the right time.
I looked and there are 11 for sale on the porsche approved site. Not exactly loads.Of course discount is available, you just have to ask the right person at the right time.

If you can wait till Mid December then you are best placed to get a deal. I did that on my 981s 4 yrs ago and got a deal I was happy with. But you have to be prepared to walk away, which is difficult once you made your mind up :-)130R said:

To add to that, when I was in wolves the other day, they only had three brand new cars on site for sale across the entire range! Everything they had was second hand. Speaking to the staff it see,ms new car sales are slow whilst vw/Porsche gets there act together on the eu emissions issue which is delaying build/delivery dates. This may be something which could work with or against negotiations. Interesting times for Porsche buyers.Geoffrey 321 said:

What he said thanks for all the advice chaps.....spoke to a few dealers and got a little off......will probably go the pcp route over 24 months and then trade up to a 911 of some sort ....if infact it is a trade up..........gts seems a pretty good bang for buck car.
with this plan in mind.....large or small deposit with pcp

Why does that speak volumes to you ?
Apparently there is a limited supply, but you’d never think it.I have been offered a sweetener to get into one and, while I think they’re fast, with great steering and superb handling, the sound just kills it stone dead for me.....like a £70K Golf R.
So I disagree with your sentiments and it would appear that I’m not alone.
