Hi
I've recently bought a 986 boxster s. I was looking to do some minor modifications to it like the intake and exhaust.Does anyone have any suggestions?

Exhaust manifold bolts can be a nightmare due to corrosion. they can shear off so budget for this in your plans. Can be roughly an hour per bolt to drill out and there are 12!

There are some quite nice looking cheap manifolds on ebay though I’ve been looking at 996 ones. Seller is uk-performance-uk. Poppopbangbang has some similar on his 350k+ mile 996.

Have a look on boxa.net There are lots of mods you can do depending on what your interest is. I've done these amongst others:
- New suspension
- slotted top mount turrets
- poly gearbox mounts
- needle bearing bushes into OE shortshift
- adjustable rear toe links
- GT3 brake ducts
- braided lines
- uprated pads
- brace bar between rear uprights
- underdrive pulley
- stainless manifolds
- Carnewal modified exhaust
- 100 cell (now 200 cell) cats
- powerflex black ARB bushes
- 996 plenum and throttle body

Cheapest and easiest mod is the de-snorkel. Look it up on google, easy to do.
And get yourself over to Boxa.net forum - much more active than here
