Re marketing... Isn’t that all cars, all products... everything on sale?

A 718 ‘6’... Porsche clearly feel/know there are customer out there who want such a car, in fact wanted one from the moment the 718 was announced... now everyone can be happy. Even you wink

Welcome back Highway, it’s been a while. I regret being in a different timezone this week meant I missed your unedited post.

I do wonder with the GT4 and Spyder seemingly taking forever to be announced whether this variant will be delayed similarly. Either way with something (eventually) now available for everyone we’ll have to find something else to disagree on. I’m sure that won’t be too difficult.

And to sign off in the traditional manner ... wink

From what I was told today it's probably going to be called 718-6 (which is in line with what we were told at the beginning of the year) and will have a detuned non turbo version of the 4.0 F6.

It'll likely sit between the current 718S and GT4/Spyder price wise so there is a chance that the current GTS will discontinue upon launch to avoid a price and performance overlap with a new version of the GTS coming out at a later date as a 982.2 before the all new model comes out which as already mentioned may well be electric.

If that happens the 982.2 and new electric version may well be sold alongside each other for a while which is the same approach they are planning to take with the current and new electric Macan's.

I've been told to expect a call in the next few weeks for my deposit and initial spec.

You really are becoming troll-like and tedious with your constant anti-Porsche rhetoric! It serves no purpose other than exhibiting an almost childlike obsessive dislike for the marque!
