List or overs ??
That must be overs. Mine is costing about that in CHF (1.09 to the EUR) and we get screwed on car prices.

Just a thought for folks speccing their cars now, for £38 its worth adding the smoker package as it means you or a future owner can run a battery conditioner through the cig lighter socket as its a permanent live.

Just catching up with this thread after a phone call this morning asking whether I still want a GT4. Couldn’t have come at a worse time as my house is being packed up ready to move tomorrow and my Stamp Duty is more than a top spec GT4 - but didn’t stop me putting a deposit down..

I've also been told they will get allocations in November. Fingers crossed!!
My dealer has just got an allocation of 18 GT4s and 7 Spiders. They took deposits on over half of the GT4s (including mine) in a couple of hours. This was Wednesday so suspect all gone now, but interesting there are more cars coming through. Delivery early next year.

I know of a OPC which just had their allocation. 30 of each, all to be delivered on 1/4/20. wobble

So hopefully some normality will now return to supply and demand.

Is that a Q1 2020 allocation or for a longer period?

If a dealer has been allocated 18 cars already that’s going to have a massive effect on used Porsche gt car market.

That will kill the used 996 997 991 and 981 gt3/4 market, good help when the new 992 gt3 turns up!

I doubt it will make any odds, I have no interest in a 718 GT4 but do have in a 997 GT3 clubsport.

David

At times you don't help yourself in the way you answer points cry

I doubt any OPC will get 18 GT4's in a month and 7 Spyders but lets see, why would Porsche flood the market with GT cars it does not make any sense.

Sounds like last time, quite a few GT4s, not many Spyders.

Because they are a business and 718 are not selling, so the production lines need to make cars with firm orders.

If the 30odd cars per OPC rumors, all get sold then Porsche will make more, one things for sure you make what you can sell.

Ap said the cars not limited this time, only forum members and OPC are saying you cannot get cars.

I think they will fill all orders, just will take 18 months.

How many people have £100k and don’t already own a Gt Car ?

Come Sept 2020 you can walk in as a none Porsche owner and just order one imo.

That is not what the post said, it said 18 cars in a month (January) that is 216 cars sold per OPC per yr X nearly 40 OPC's that would be 8640 cars entering the market in 2020, Get real.

Not only that but 7 Spyders per month = 84 per yr x 40 OPC's = 3360 Spyders in a year.

Just shows how crazy this forum gets sometimes biglaugh

I only posted it won’t effect 997 GT3 prices :-)

Not a fan of rumors regarding numbers, that will solve its self in 2 years and we will all know.

I saw the white paper with my own eyes for the 981 GT4 numbers and that got tripled !
