I would advise you check whether your insurer demands tracker activation to insure you.

Some do not such as NFU even on high end cars worth £200k.
I can attest to that, I'm with NFU and just insured my 3RS this week for full market value.
That interesting you say full market value. A number of mine are on agreed value with NFU for no extra charge. Worth checking 'full market value' clause categorically does not actually mean 'invoice cost' which is the case with most insurers for new/nearly new (under 1 year old) cars.

I dealt with Mannings a couple of years back and they would only insure at max 'invoice cost' for cars worth over list ££ in the event of a claim. Others reputable insurers such as Hiscox were horrifically expensive on an agreed value basis so went with NFU who do offer an outstanding service.
Thanks for the info, I possibly should have used the term "agreed value"? Because the insured amount is on the paperwork, and yes NFU outstanding service.

I insure all my cars with NFU apart from whatever car i choose at a given time to take on track..NFU are brilliant and have a two year new car replacement in their policy..My new RS with Footman James who are also brilliant to deal with and include five trackdays with only and additional £3K excess unlike most which stipulate 10%..
No problems in getting them to agree to a £250K agreed value which is another bonus.

Anyone hearing what typical levels of GT4 and Spyder allocations OPC’s are getting for 2020?

2020 Q1 allocations are all done now I think, and the levels seem broadly similar to Q4 2019. Q2 2020 allocations will be released in mid-Feb I think.

Was hoping with the *limited availability, being taken off the porsche site that that may hike production. Anyway will wait as long as it takes.

I guess different markets have different schedules then? I got the call last week for April 2020 delivery in Switzerland.

That's a March build, so Q1 2020. The UK seems to work on a 3 month lead time for build slots which are released in batches, it sounds like Switzerland is the same smile

A 718 Spyder with 120 miles has just appeared on Porsche Sutton Coldfield Twitter feed.

Not on their website yet.

Porsche clearly need to include instructions in their handbooks on how to enter and exit bucket seats correctly.

Both my GT4 and Spyder have manual a/c not climate and it works perfectly well even.in damp/frosty winter weather although I concede most buyers want climate especially on a nearly new flipper over list ££.

Imo the silver wheels and yellow with the white would concern me more.

Anyone know the amount of UK 718 Spyders and GT4s entering the country each quarter.
My OPC was saying they are only getting 4/5 Spyders in 2020.? Seems low?

All this talk of huge increases in production and availability for the UK could well be bullst especially for the Spyder.

My OPC in total will probably be getting no more than 15 GT4s and probably half as many Spyders.

Whether production extends past early 2021 is also questionable.

Sounds about right, I think my OPC only got 2 Spyders for Q4.

They are moving between people behind the scenes.
Cancelled Spyder delivery I was offered 2 weeks ago has reached an owner now.

Has everyone else not received logbook and manuals? I was told they have not been produced yet when I picked up my Spyder.
