911 JOE. Spyder looks amazing many congratulations to you and others who have their cars.

This GT Silver if very similar to my spec but I’m waiting for the PDK.

There was also a black GT4 in the showroom, both look fantastic. If I don’t go for the silver then Guards Red looks a good choice, all subjective though.

Thanks CDR

A number of dealer groups/OPC's (Jardine/Lancaster, H.R. Owen, Dick Lovett etc..) now have direct relationships with Topaz, which means that it can be fully coordinated by the OPC and allows you to have the cost included in the total car price/finance, just like any other item of optional equipment/accessories etc..

I saw your car at the OPC when I was speccing my GTS. Good to know PPF can be added into finance as was going to do front end and skirts then get their detailer to treat it. Glad you are enjoying it!

Thanks guys

From the pic’s of the handover room that silver GT4 is in it looks like we are all at the same OPC - I saw the black GT4 there as well, it’s got all the extra leather/contrast stitching options for the dashboard windscreen vent / speaker panels + steering column.

All the best with your cars

Thank you, I will! Yes recognise that handover room anywhere.

This black one?

I believe that's yours lurking right in background behind a 991 convertible.

I seem to remember Clarkson having a similar fault during his test drive for The Sunday Times.

Were you there Thurs / very early Friday? - I collected at 10am Friday.

The black GT4 I saw the previous Sat had yellow PCCB’s and yellow contrast stitching (including in all the optional places), assumed it was the same one on Friday but looks like a different one from the stitching in your pic.

Looks like our OPC had a few GT4’s going out.

Great car but it seems just not reliable. Crazy a new car comes up with warning signs within a few miles. Ask for your money back or some compensation. In USA they call it lemon law

An OPC told me that they had a customer return the car rather than wait for the recall to be completed. Apparently chance of car catching fire. They had negative experience with Ferrari fire.

Engine manufacture issue on one bank of cylinders on early cars. A tool was faulty and may not have tightened fuel lines correctly.

It was a faulty assembly line tool - these things can happen.

Not if you have good control over quality in your factory. There. Should be a number of controls to pick up stuff like that

there were hence the short run of cars with said issue and the fast recall !

Guess they would be pretty negligent if they didn’t do a quick recall as the risk seems to be a fire!! So what compensation are they offering ?

The customer didn’t want the car back so dealer said I could have at £12k over list! Porsche are premium cars but the OPC staff are charlatans and not matching brand ethos.
