PDK car isn't a different model, just an option, so it'll make no difference to build slot availability smile

You say that but on my actual order form the model description includes the PDK and the price is correspondingly higher. The PDK does not appear in the options list, like on the Configurator. This would imply that it is in fact a separate model.

My actual Porsche GB 718 GT4 PDK New Vehicle Order Form signed last week has "Transmission" blanked out in the "Vehicle Description" section, and an entry in "Vehicle Optional Equipment" of:

Code 250 - Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) - £2,000.00

Looks like an option to me.

It's a manual GT4 I am after, but I want a new one. Thanks for putting the post where it ought to be!

The PDK may well be an option but as we all know options do not affect PCP residual values on Porsches, however the GT4 PDK has a different and higher residual value to the manual one (with all other factors being the same) that doesn't seem to show up on the configurator but does on a dealer quote.

Yes on my GT4. Yellow stitching on the inside. The colour scheme works very well together, I would also consider silver wheels for a bit more contrast

My preference would by Crayon, Black Alcantara interior, Black details, Carbon Bucket Seats, Manual, PCCB, though I would prefer black calipers.

ATM I have gone safe and boring - but I am contemplating PTS if the window is open when build happens.

I love black but think white looks so right on a Spyder so I'm currently on

White, silver wheels, steel brakes with red calipers (I love PCCB but am struggling with justifying £6k atm), 18-way comfort, manual, leather, Bose and a few other bits n bobs to take it to circa £83k.

If it's good enough for Porsche...... 😂

Porsche always use the best combinations for their publicity shots, for sure.

White

Any idea whether that’s base white or Carrara metallic white? I think you’ve sold me off GT Silver.

Not safe and boring at all. They look brilliant in Carrera White, it really shows off the rear deck area. Here is my current one, just washed it today for the first time in 3 months of winter driving and it’s come up lovely. Spec sounds fine, my only advice would be to find the extra for the Burmester, it’s brilliant especially cranked right up with the top down. I personally think Bose is a complete waste of money and I am not alone in that opinion.

I have ummed for a short while, but it is a fun car and won't be my daily (Turbo S for that job) so I'm 90% sure it will be manual.
