Thank-you for that Twinfan. We both don't have the the parking assist deactivation button. Also a chap over on the M3Cutters forum who recently purchased a 718GT4 has the same as us. The owners manual must be out of date or maybe they have changed things. Anyway my sales advisor is going to query it tomorrow. Thanks for your efforts.
Think you only get the button to deactivate if you have front parking sensors, not available on GT4.diffstar said:

That might be the illusive answer! Leicester OPC sales advisor has got someone looking into it for me. I did notice a new 718 GTS in the showroom today and that had rear sensors with no front sensors and no deactivate button on the overhead console so maybe squares up with what you say.WORRALL. said:

That's some going and always great to see these being used properly! I also expect its got a couple more seconds in it. I know JCR did a full second quicker on a stock 981 on N0 tyres so id imagine the 718 should be capable of around 2min 17 secs stock on N1's with PDK TX.

That’s my car. It’s only just gone for sale and that’s where they wanted to start on price as it has a decent spec. Was £93k new.
The beauty of SOR is it’s essentially up to me what we sell it for.........so feel free to make me an offer if it’s way overpriced.
WBAC offered a touch under 80.
Have you had much interest on the car?The beauty of SOR is it’s essentially up to me what we sell it for.........so feel free to make me an offer if it’s way overpriced.

Looks great congrats. Did you do the MR conversion straight away or did you run it stock for a bit first? Just wondering if you can comment on the impact of the full MR kit.
I've had a 981 before and I've been through the various mods to get a decent setup so I knew what was needed to get it in the right window for my use so I just decided to go for the full kit. I've only done 5 laps of the GP circuit and 3 laps of the Nordschleife, but overall stability is much improved. Especially during braking and trail-braking at the limit of grip. The rear no long dances around, the front end is better controlled and supported. The ride is firmer, no doubt about that, but the car is a lot better tied down. Even 250 kph runs on the bumpy parts of the autobahn the wheels never let go of the road. You can feel the quality of the damping here. The car refuses the follow any cambers in the road and is extremely stable even at speeds close to 300 kph. Speaking of that, my estimate is that the car has lost about 10 kph of straight-line performance due to the new aero. 294 kph (GPS) seems to be the new top speed.
The only downside is that the lower ride height together with the air deflectors/scoops under the front of the car makes the clearance low and can be a problem for some on the street.

Thanks for taking the time to write that. It sounds awesome. Definitely something I’ll think about but probably after a year or so. That video actually recently popped up in my Youtube recommended videos! I've seen it.I've got a great relationship with the guys at Fabspeed so I'm doing their headers. A good benefit there is that it's quite easy to swap between straight pipes and cats if you would want to. Should arrive next week, and should be tested on track fairly soon. I'll do a few draggy tests before / after.

Cool. Are the headers 200 cell or are you going decat?I've got a great relationship with the guys at Fabspeed so I'm doing their headers. A rare appearance by a 718 Spyder in the classifieds, 69-plate GT Silver metallic example with low miles at 911v for about £10k over list
https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/11536536
A real dearth of supply, this is I think the only C16-spec 718 Spyder for sale in the country at this time.
