Been on the list since Nov 2019 following up every three months with the dealer. I've bought two new cars and one used from the dealer so getting frustrated about the wait.
That’s really odd, you’ve bought three cars from them and yet still not had a GT4 or a date? I’d be pushing them hard and asking where you are on their list/what they reckon they are getting next year. Was speaking to the sales manager at an OPC recently who had a good handle on his GT car totals for next year already, although clearly it could change a bit.

I believe OPCs have their 2022 volumes and 1Q build slots. I was offered an GT4 February build slot on Thursday. Was speaking to the sales manager at an OPC recently who had a good handle on his GT car totals for next year already, although clearly it could change a bit.

With PTS shown as an option on both GT4 and Spyder configurators is PTS available (albeit at cost) on all GT4/Spyder build slots now or am I missing something?
It may not be that simple. I’ve just been granted PTS. But as I understand it Porsche are limiting the numbers, so you can apply and you may or may not get it? T

My PTS Spyder is in build at the moment, which I ordered over 1 year ago . My sales chap told me on Sat that there were no more PTS Spyder slots available and that mine is one of the last. There are apparently GT4 slots. Make of that what you will given that Porsche are making PTS more widely available across the range.bigmowley said:

There's plenty in the £85-99k bracket, am I missing something? Why would anyone pay 6 figures unless they really wanted sub 500 miles...
It's PDK. PDK are at a premium. Lucky for those who have them.MrTickle said:
I have 2 weeks to lock in the spec of my GT4 - I assumed the manual would be a better longer term investment, but I could order PDK and am a bit torn between the two as it will be my daily. Interesting the PDK is getting a premium now - do we think that will hold?
Ignore resale unless you're planning on flipping the car. Buy the gearbox YOU want Twinfan said:

Good advice as ever to drive both PDK and manual then decide.
Worth pointing out several posters including myself consider the manual GT4 to feel generally more responsive than the PDK whether that is because of the 30kg greater weight of the PDK coupled with inevitable parasitic losses of the auto box is difficult to quantify.

If you want even more responsiveness, go manual and then get a LWFW fitted. Just sayin'...Worth pointing out several posters including myself consider the manual GT4 to feel generally more responsive than the PDK whether that is because of the 30kg greater weight of the PDK coupled with inevitable parasitic losses of the auto box is difficult to quantify.

I was going to keep it a secret until I actually saw it in the flesh but given that my PTS colour has suddenly become popular with certain members of Porsche top brass it’s becoming quite common
I went for Azzuro Thetys. Silver wheels, black interior with silver stitch and belts, black hood.
Hopefully it’s a forever car so I specified it so that Mrs BigM would enjoy it as well, comfort seats, PDK, Burmester, normal tyres, PCCB and all the other bits and bobs.
I want this to be my daily for the next few years and with that in mind I have a few decent trips planned for 2022, Covid willing. I have a trip to Sweden booked in early Feb so I will look at the feasibility of taking the Spyder.
I have a few styling tweaks planned to personalize it a bit but again I want to get it into the fleet first and then enjoy the modification process over time.

Looked a bit GT in first pic and Polar (showing my age) silver on steroids in another pic.
Enjoy the car porn all you GT4RS fans……
