How did you get on with selling your BGTS Jeff............?
Sorry I must have missed this. Tbh had only 4 inquiries in all the weeks it was advertised, 2 were just messers and wanted to drive it with no intention of buying and other 2 never came to anything, I kept driving it every now and then and the more I did the more I was getting tempted to sell the Spyder and keep it, so I threw the dice and popped it on Motorway to see what would happen and it sold, went to an OPC so imagine we will see it back up for sale very shortly.

Oh and I went ahead and changed the colour of the wheels just couldn’t get away with the dark grey .

In one go? That’s moving, although you did pass by rather quickly until you saw that Gendarme van lol.

Yes drove from Poole in Dorset at 3.30am arrived near Arezzo Tuscany at 8.58pm the same day, got pulled by the Italian Police for document check near Arezzo near the end of the journey.

Traffic officer asked where we had come from I said the UK, he said what today lol got away with it though.

Had I very high speed convoy from Épernay this morning with two GT4’s and an Aston Martin Vantage, no Police about as they probably had their hands full with rioters.

Lol good point about police being busy. We drive from Troyes to Calais in the morning.

Can’t believe you can do that mileage in a day must be intense at times.

I'd say not quite - but not far off. It actually sounds very different - the 981 is a very loud slightly unsubtle thing, with lots of fake pops and bangs. The 718 with JCR is slightly quieter but with what I'd describe as a very real , bassey, deep sound - both sound epic, but they are different. I would say the later car sounds more grown up if that makes sense ?
How does the JCR (with stock GPFs) compare in terms of volume against the 991.2 GTS (or any other 991.2 with PSE)?
