Aventurine Green
Discussion
I think you will find that the Aventurine of the mid/late 90's is a totaly differnt colour from that of the 2019 colour. From memory the former was a very dark shade of green wheras the new colour is best described - from what I have seen - as a shade of silver but very attractive. It would certainly be on my short list
LOTS of video and pictures of the color (of an owner) on a 992 in this Rennlist thread:

Looks really good to me eyes, also for a 718.

I still haven't seen an Aventurine green 718 and there are none on the used finder (demonstrators). Whilst, it's an interesting colour and looks decent on the 992, it reminds me of the colour on a Ford Kuga for some reason. Then again Crayon reminds me of a Renault Kaptur beige hire car I once had the misfortune of driving. I need to see Aventurine on a 718 online or in the flesh before finalising my opinion on it but the Porsche selection of colours seems to be getting more limited and their removal of successful (popular) colours from the options appears bizarre.

That's because it's a new colour, so any demonstrator that has it will still be in use for demonstration purposes.Blink982 said:

I've seen demonstrators listed for sale. I've driven more than one at my local OPC. Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
