Anyone contemplating this colour for their Cayman? Any thoughts?

It’s a lovely colour. Grey in some light and quite colourful with some sunshine. Really classy. I wish I’d seen it in the metal before my order was locked in.

My 993 is A-green. depending on light conditions, it can appear almost black to a variety of greens. It's a colour that grows on you.

I think you will find that the Aventurine of the mid/late 90's is a totaly differnt colour from that of the 2019 colour. From memory the former was a very dark shade of green wheras the new colour is best described - from what I have seen - as a shade of silver but very attractive. It would certainly be on my short list

LOTS of video and pictures of the color (of an owner) on a 992 in this Rennlist thread:

Looks really good to me eyes, also for a 718.

I still haven't seen an Aventurine green 718 and there are none on the used finder (demonstrators). Whilst, it's an interesting colour and looks decent on the 992, it reminds me of the colour on a Ford Kuga for some reason. Then again Crayon reminds me of a Renault Kaptur beige hire car I once had the misfortune of driving. I need to see Aventurine on a 718 online or in the flesh before finalising my opinion on it but the Porsche selection of colours seems to be getting more limited and their removal of successful (popular) colours from the options appears bizarre.

That's because it's a new colour, so any demonstrator that has it will still be in use for demonstration purposes.

I think Aventuribe looks great on the 992...not sure it’ll work on the 718. Don’t know why I think that!

I've seen demonstrators listed for sale. I've driven more than one at my local OPC.

718 demonstrators for sale already? Which country are we talking about (genuinely interested!)

Wondering if anyone has seen a Cayman in Aventurine Green as yet and can post a pic?

Had a quick peek at Porsche GB, Porsche Germany and Porsche USA. Not a single green 718 in the dealer network of all three.

Much to my chagrin it's not the 993 Aventura Green, which I am gutted about!!

I didn't see any model in Aventurine when I was at the F1 last month. I only remember seeing the usual guards, racing, miami and lava.

It's a lovely colour in the metal. Looks equally good with gold and grey wheels too.

Lovely colour - really subtle. I went Midnight Blue on a 992 and think that if I had been able to see the new Aventurine in the flesh before ordering, it would have been the choice.
