Boxster 981 - Steering Wheel change

I'm think of buying a 981 Boxster GTS and it's currently fitted with the silver (alloy) style steering wheel but I really like the Black Multi-Function wheel that was an option. Does anyone know if it is possible to 1. Purchase one from Porsche; 2. I suspect it will fit but, 3. Will it be possible for the controls on the steering wheel to work i.e. volume, phone etc? I suppose whilst I'm asking, can a 718 steering wheel be fitted?

If you prefer the black one to the silver SD one it'll cost you £1000-1500 to change and you'll lose the same again in the car's resale value.

Agree with above - on a PDK car everyone wants the SD steering wheel, as the MF one has the terrible gear selection buttons, so many people have swapped.

This does mean that there must be loads of MF ones that are redundant and should be very cheap to buy s/h.

Of course, ‘manual’ is a different.
