lets hope it looks like this for the 27 people allowed to have one.

Agreed, let's hope that they did not have to mortgage their souls to get one !

Of course if all new car values fall (as per natural justice), maybe a secondhand car will be the most intelligent buy ...

Regardless of the state of the ecomomy I doubt this will ever come close to list!

The RS 4.0 which was launched just after the finacial crisis in 2010, immediately had overs of around £50k iirc.

According to a guy on Rennlist, who has seen it and gave the most accurate info about the GT4, "it is the most special car to come out of Weissach in a very long time and that includes the GT2RS" !

He also said that there would be 3 cars, GT4, Spyder and GT4RS, with 2 different engines. GT3 engine?

Somebody i know, who works with a number of "big players" told me over the weekend that he's had confirmation that it wil be circa 460bhp.

As it will possibly be the first and last NA GT4RS i'd say a 6 figure premium is quite easily possible!

Nigel Farage has just gone up in my estimation this lunchtime..He's not going to stand a candidate on any Tory held seat and instead will fully concentrate on fighting against all Labour held seats..woohoo

Keep on banging that drum.. Since the referendum the UK has fallen to 6th in the World (overtaken by India) and is on track to be 7th by the end of the year when France overtakes...

there are 195 countries in the world, 5th or 6th makes no odds.

Give it 2 years and the UK will be 1st in Europe. imo.

People down trod the UK for some reason.

I bought a 964RS at £35k ... they all fall in the end ...

I also did 20,000Km in a Maritime 964RS Clubsport (NGT) which taught me to drive ... if well maintained this reliability made P great ... although I did have a friend have a hub carrier break at Spa ...

Cleaning lady gossip on the "GT4RS" posted at the start of this thread over on Rennlist is that the car will appear this year. But it will be a track only special like the GT2RS Clubsport.

That would be make sense, as I suspect the GT4 Clubsport race car will be updated to use the 4.0 engine and this is one of that series of cars a la GT2RS.

There possibly maybe a GT4RS Clubsport produced as well which will be track only, but a GT4RS road car is coming.

I do not think this car would not have been on the road if it was to be track only. These photos are staged so as to get people exicited about the car!

I guess there could be a small chance that it is cancelled due to some emissions rules or manufacturing contraints, but i find that unlikely.

The wing supports will look the same as the 992 GT3.

Time will tell, but i'm still pretty confident it is coming, its just a matter of when!

Very, very special car..Minimum £100K with circa 460PS and hopefully the PDKS from the GT3 and not the standard overdriven PDK..Its the only potential new Porsche i'd consider changing my 991.2GT3 RS in for. Factor in potentially £120K for a well specced car which is £60K less than my new RS pretty good value.

I wouldn't say a road car is definitely coming based on one mule being spied 6 months ago, especially as Porsche have a habit of changing their mind in recent times. I would put the chance of it coming as "possible" until we see more mules.

The race car will surely get the 4.0 at its next refresh, so I can see why the rumour may have some weight.

Correct, cant say it is definitely going to be built!

However my guess is we may see one more set of mule pics if at all. Having actively searched for Porsche mule pictures over the past 8 years or so, i've realised the limited cars have 1/2 sets of mule pics realeased at most. Im pretty sure 911R had at 1 set of pictures released at most 2.

I think its a question of when rather than if! Also how limited is this thing going to be? 718 cars? lol

A bit of info from Rennlist to support the rumour that the car in the pics we've seen was a Clubsport testing mule. The rear windows have been removed and replaced with vents to allow for the new air intake:
