It's all guesswork isn't it. If they needed to test the intake system and there was a test session at the 'Ring they could use why not?

I personally can't see this intake being used on a road car, and it seems to be what the mule had based on the rear quarters.

I wasn't suggesting that it was a full Clubsport test car, but rather an engine intake mule.

But whatever.

GT4RS? My OPC tells me he will be allocated probably just two. I'm not getting one.

Cheers.

Centrelocks and a regular wing, but still the vents in the rear quarters. Looks like the RS is coming then.

PDK only and 450PS sounds right to me.

At last, we've convinced you!! lol

Hopefully they bring back the Clubsport wing for the road car!

Seeing more mules will always convince me, a single car isn't enough. This one is a proper parts bin special isn't it?

If they're going for centrelocks, that could imply the GT3RS front end and a more bespoke rear? I don't know how easy it would be to just swap out hubs on the existing GT4 rear.

These centre lock make it a real pain for mere mortals to have two sets of wheels ...

I had a 2002 GT3R that was easier !

And the hubs are lifed ... 3000 miles on track ?

That's two years !!

Wheel hubs from stud to Center lock is easy.
The GT4 hub is from the 991 Turbo which was available with Centerlock or 5 stud, so straight from the parts bin.

Rear suspension will likely be the same, as it will still have it’s basis on the race car. I doubt they’ll do something like the autoquest multi-link setup.
General suspension differences will be even fewer rubber bushes. Harder spring rates.

Agree, PITA really.
But there are a lot of 991 GT cars with Center locks now so people are used to them now.

Engine and gearbox from the GT3? So in a Cayman that would be 1 forward and 6 or 7 reverse gears.

I'm going to take the info with a large pinch of salt...
