The 4RS is not his car, as far as he has said.
Sure. To clarify, I was just saying that it would be an "interesting" move from Porsche Schweiz if a YTer with no-OPC purchasing history got one over a serial buyer with GT purchase history ...

Good on Luke if he gets one, but it may not go down that well over here!

Sorry if I missed this earlier, but did you take up the offer of the ‘4RS?
No, the GT4 is better for my needs (I prefer to have at least one stick-shift manual) and I have plans for a car from another marque TBH (which will also be DSG).

Thanks for the quick reply. Very interested that you turned one down given the overs that they are allegedly going to be worth. But nice to hear you didn’t take it just to make some quick money and hopefully someone that really wants one to drive and use will get your slot :-)

TBF, my slot would have been a late one ... but, I couldn't care less about the money. I only ever own (or want to own) cars that I want, and as good as the GT4 RS is, I've always wanted to own a Ferrari, and that's what I am hoping to do next.

I bought the GT4 instead of a 458 as I suspected that if I bought the Fezza, I'd likely never own a 718 GT4, and I really wanted to thumbup

Drive a Ferrari - I understand

Own one… hell no. Ridiculous bills and they’re made of cheese

We’ll wave as we pass your lay-by ;-)

He's a few Porsche cars himself but, I agree, not in number. Not like the bullst you;d have to endure here in UK to even get onto the list.

However, he's a de facto brand ambassador/partner (I really like a lot of his content), so it would not be entirely without precedent if he got a GT4RS.

Good luck to the guy either way!

I am genuinely looking forward to seeing my first GT4RS on track.

I like the centre coloured strip on the bonnet, I was on the 4RS config this morning and that option was missing?

Certainly looking to tick that (if I'm lucky)

I looked at getting the bonnet stripe.
I was quoted around £6000 for it.
I decided i could have more fun with vinyl.

usually pts cars in crazy colours are kept/driven as they are harder to move on / you don't get the return back on the pts costs
