That specific car has been on back to back relentless press duty for the past month or so, with reviewers using it booked way in advance. To fix those things between bookings would be nigh on impossible, so unless they take the car out of circulation (which they don't have a replacement, which in turns buggers top the booking schedule), it's not possible to fix. But, tbh they really aren't big issues in the context of the car's purpose. It could be argued the back window could be replaced, but if it's a WP specific rear window it's prob on some sort of back order and/or might have not been noticed and/or might have happened when Harry was driving it back from pick-up and/or a myriad of other reasons.

Both those things really mean nothing in the grand schema of a car test, so personally I have no idea why Harry even mentioned them.

plus Spyder RS for 1 model year.
Now that’s a car I would love to own, all that noise with the roof down proper old skool
Can't imagine the noise in the Spyder RS would better the GT4RS given it is largely induction as opposed to exhaust and the standard Spyder noise is drowned out anyway by wind noise from the roof itself when up.

Recent late summer budget pitch and tarring of many roads probably largely responsible for that gravel rash from the front wheels onto the area ahead of the rear wheels, enhanced by the aero reshaped front wings no doubt.

Which is the best possible reason for a little PPF ...

I accept that the car has had a hard life and that the Weissach rear glass may be an issue (the gorilla glass on some McLaren's is causing a problem with cracking) ... but Harry did mention it I guess with some reason.

You have to ask why there aren't lots of GT4RS owners on here telling us how wonderful the car is and presenting the alternative view ...

There were with the original GT4 ... I was only one of them ...

According the Harry they are making 7k of them. That must be more than 981 GT4 numbers?

Looking forward to picking one up under list.
Used prices will start with an 7 one day, say in 2027.

it is a 5minute wonder car. That sound will drive one bonkers after a few months of ownership.

I think lots to do with production delay after delays…
How many allocations did dealers get in the recent handout? In the main it was 2 each this year, I’d bet 3-4 next.. so 7,000 is very possible worldwide with production running to 2025, in UK, c. 500-600 I’d guess when all said and done..

Outrageous - you’d have to negotiate hard on the exorbitant option to purchase fee.

The APR is the same rate as the fixed just with setting up charges included so probably 11.9% APR in this instance
