That is the nicest looking one I've seen. Silver is a boring colour but as the car has so much going on, it works.
Even if I was a billionaire, I don't think I could bring myself to spend 6k on a bonnet stripe.
So @Escy, even if you do become a billionaire, you probably won't be getting factory stickers on a Ferrari. Someone talked me through the cost of a few of the stripes and logo stickers on an 812 GTS. It was in for PPF and prep at the same time as my rather boring new base 718 Cayman this time last year. Absolutely eye-watering! But then if you can afford a new 812, and you want the colourful bits, why wouldn't you?Even if I was a billionaire, I don't think I could bring myself to spend 6k on a bonnet stripe.
@TheDeadPrussian, your car looks absolutely stunning. With a bit of luck we might coincide on a track day next year, as I would love to see that in person. Would not have been my natural choice of colours, but I think it's the nicest one I have seen in photos so far. I am green with envy, but as long as you enjoy the car, I'll get over it. Really good to know there are at least a few going to people who want to enjoy them. For what they are, list price seems remarkably good value for money for those that have been lucky enough.

Specking my car this week, it was GR with the bonnet strip and gold wheels, until I saw this pic
My WP RS is silver with gold wheels and I WAS going to change colour
Can you PM me with the bonnet strip cost please or post on here if you want? (I know it's many thousands)
With white gold wheels, from PEC Silverstone I believe My WP RS is silver with gold wheels and I WAS going to change colour

Honestly, I'm not sure I would pay £265k for it if that was the only way to secure one. However, having said that, I have spent a good deal of money on Porsche cars and lost a fair amount in depreciation in the process - so perhaps I have paid significantly more than list to 'earn' the right/opportunity to purchase one?
But if someone is willing to pay that to add it to a collection, or because they weren't able to secure an allocation for a car they desperately want to experience and enjoy, then I wouldn't stand in their way. It wouldn't be mine they would be buying however, as it's not for sale!
Nice one and great pictures. I do wonder when the price will start to creep downwards. Sadly my position on the list is not near the top so no chance. Probably look at a newer 992 GT3 as an interim and chop my 991.2 in.But if someone is willing to pay that to add it to a collection, or because they weren't able to secure an allocation for a car they desperately want to experience and enjoy, then I wouldn't stand in their way. Rubystar ... is it the same as Rubystone was in the 964 era ?
Of course there was the other name for it, monkey-bum-red, a great colour on a stand-out car
Haha, not heard that before lol, good info...Of course there was the other name for it, monkey-bum-red, a great colour on a stand-out car
The original Rubystone is ever so slightly darker I think but people still refer to it as Rubystar. I've seen a few 964s in this colour but they aren't original paint so it's hard to get a true comparison... here's a pic though...

Nice car, didn't you fancy the Mag wheels?
Also, did you 'swerve' the watch?
I must admit, you've got me looking at RY myself it looks good.

Yes, I did fancy the Mag wheels. As i really like the standard ones i have those for winter and Mag ones for the spring onwards!
I don't wear a watch, so it was of no interest to me.
It is Signal Yellow.
