every time I read about insurance in the UK I am so jealous how cheap it is.

How are you guys who are about to collect finding the build and delivery lead times?

My car has been inching further and further forward in time since the order was placed in December. My current build start date is the 10th March which is about 3 weeks earlier than it was when the order went in. This obviously feels very promising for an April delivery just in time for a slightly late start to the track day season.

I am not used to things coming forwards, its usually the other way around. I do get the feeling that the GT4RS is getting built in decent numbers at the moment, perhaps at the expense of the GT4? This should be good news for 4RS allocations in general?

Mine went back 4 or 5 weeks from early December build having ordered mid June and arrived end of January. Just looking forward to running it in- have my session at PEC next week too!

After hearing about other 4RS' arriving with Dunlops I can confirm mine is shod with Michelin Cup 2s. Wasn't bothered either way as I rate the Dunlops higher than most seem to do.

Interesting - I wonder how they've got round the exisiting gearbox torque limit issue. Modifications or a new unit?

I agree, sharing the gearbox across cars to share development costs too which would also make sense...

No further info, just that a 718R is on with manaul and no wing.

When people said the GT4RS is only fir flippers and the cars and coffee crowd? Good to see five of them lined up after a good thrashing around Oukton Park. You lucky b&&&&&stds!!!

The Guards Red one didn't go on track, and neither did the Gelbgrün car that turned up for a bit

Whoever was in the blue car was proper quick!
