I thought it looked weird using like that, I'd just use the paddles
IMO, there are some situations where using the shifter might be useful - as the paddles move being attached to the steering. Also so give a little bit of the 'real' manual vibe and interaction back... albeit without the foot operated clutch.

Oh god. I have held off watching the Catchpole video until just now. My Guards Red 4RS is still in Emden as far as I know. The wait is just purgatory. I can almost smell the bloody thing. Damm.
Lucky man! Enjoy! Was lucky enough to be taken round oulton in an RS and they certainly are as good as you'd imagine, perfect drivers sports car.

Lucky you, mine's still at the factory waiting for the CXX bonnet to be completed!Different ways of going fast.
As power is would be ‘equivalent’ it’s about which chassis and type of car dynamics you prefer.
Vs 991 GT, 4RS has less tyre, and grip overall - aero and mechanical…. But as the ‘smaller’ more immediate car, providing a very emotional experience… noise and feel.

At 210K to 220K it is probably a good deal. Seeing as they are faster than a 991.2 GT3RS and they sound awsome on the track.
There probably are a few going back as the earlier ones seem to have gone to customers that are now getting a GT3RS and these cars seem to be coming through now.

They need to be under 991.2 3RS as a used proposition IMO. It’s not a limited number car… and it is not as capable as 991.2 3RS.
Less power, less torque, less grip - aero and mechanical.

Ummmm....... really? where?
Porsche GT cars Nurburgring laptimes :Porsche 991.2 911 GT2 RS MR: 6:38.835
Porsche 992 911 GT3 RS: 6:44.848
Porsche 991 911 GT2 RS Weissach: 6:47.3
Porsche 992 911 GT3: 6:55.34
Porsche 991.2 911 GT3 RS Weissach: 6:56.4
Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS: 7:04.511
So 991.2 GT3RS still faster
Evo Leaderboard.
Anglesey Track
GT4RS 1.12.4
992 GT3 1.12.8
Oulton Park
GT4RS 1.49.5
992 GT3 1.49.8
991 GT3RS 1.50.1
UK tracks are totally different to the ring where they are doing 150mph around most corners and downforces comes into effect.
I don't live in Germany so as far as UK buyers are concerned I am pretty sure a GT4RS will be faster around Cadwell Park than a 991.2GT3RS.
So both cars are a good track day car at a similar price point.
Personal choice I would prefer the GT4RS.
