What a fool.
Has he forgot his own words when he reviewed it?!

"The best car I’ve ever driven"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwM-n7IjmGA

Imagine living with him - "I'll have a coffee (moments later).....I said TEA!"
He has shown himself up like a right kipper.

I watched a video from JayEmm, he's talking Porsche prices. Shows how the asking prices are being dropped on the GT4RS (and everything else)

That plugin he is using is great to list the changes in price.

Yeah, it's good, I wasn't aware of it previously. This is currently the cheapest on AT, 26k taken off the asking price in a month.

With the publicity James has give that extension, I bet Autotrader are scrambling to patch/disable it because it ultimately gives buyers power through more information, but ultimately their customers are the sellers/dealers and more information to the buyers comes at their detriment. It's for the same reason when I'm house hunting to always crosscheck rightmove to zoopla as zoopla has the price change info displayed to buyers

I see Edinburgh OPC have a WP 4RS with 5K miles up for £164K

They are fairly dropping….

Had for a while at £175k.

Highest mileage OPC car at 5500. Bizarre...mag wheels but steel brakes.

Looks like most OPCs happy to sit on these until next Spring now will be interesting seeing how their prices track 992 GT3s of the same age.

This youTuber sold his - the sound levels lead to long term hearing loss.

4mins in for why he sold the GT4RS and gone with a GT3RS

Wouldn’t shock me if we see these at mid 150k soon enough for a WP car we similar mileage.

They don’t seem to be selling fast and have to be the most reduced in price opc porsche over the last few months.

Made sense at 130k new, doesn’t make sense at £170k used. As great as it may be, it’s still a cayman and the platform it’s built around has been about for a long time.

Only time will tell I guess.

Remain unconvinced a 4RS is any louder overall than a 991.1 GT3 RS tbh....

That Arctic grey car makes the yellow 15k mile ex Press Porsche GB car look expensive.

As I recall Harry tested a GT4RS at 116 DB, max revs at head height - that’s bonkers and potentially damaging noise levels

Seem to recollect he revised that to 110db at 9k revs.

991.1 GT3 RS only revs to c8800.

The two cars make noise in totally different ways.
Exhaust noise and intake noise in the 3RS is much further back and is much more tuneful.

4RS is an intense racket….. so you probably need to:
1 - be in the mood for it,
2 - drive accordingly,
3- have earplugs or,
4- have a helmet.

I do agree, and really is the kicker for the car at the silly prices.
Since day 1 it was always a bit tricky to position this car… kinda like 600LT.

Dundon posted this on their weekly Whiskey Friday show.

Almost made me spit my drink out. Lol.

They’ve heavily developed their 4RS ‘lab-rat’ but the basis ‘is still what it is’. Little details make you think, such as the driveshaft bolts which are the same as the regular 718… not the uprated fine threaded bolts as per GT3, or even the 4RS Clubsport racecar, both with same engine and gearbox.

Glad they made it, and for the initial price and maybe up to 145/150k in today’s world probably stacks up. Beyond that… tougher sell vs some other more sophisticated stuff.

Yep thought as much..... theres essentially nothing in it. 110db 4RS 108db 991.1 GT3 RS.

Interesting that the Performante is 109db and 720 S Spider also 109db.
