Resale is only relevant when I want to sell it - which I don't at present. It will be worth what someone is willing to pay me for it when I do, that might be over list price or under it, but either way I will extracted the value from it in terms of enjoyment and ownership experience.

The deal was, it goes back, I get what I want in the future. Anyone who lives on or is familiar with the Isle of Man might understand the lack of use over Winter...

See plenty of extracting something else!
Maybe his heart was really set on a 992 GT3RS ? ... or maybe even the next "badge" car that may be moved along the gravy train before it is even run-in ??
If I were offered the chance would I really say no ? Some dealers really are pretty awful ....
Respect to those who really drive them and take the chance on future value !!
P.S. Yes this does really really really irritate me

I am the proud owner of the Shark Blue car with the blue stripe.
I always regard cars as a bit of fun and never to be taken too
seriously. Next month I might try something else.
As for it being a mistake, well fair enough, in others eyes
that might be the case.
But the car as a whole makes me and boys smile.
And that's good enough for me.

Apologies for being late to the character assassination It is indeed my car. It has gone back as part of a quid pro quo agreement to secure another car in the next couple of months and an another allocation beyond that. I would have liked to have kept it alongside the new cars, but it wasn't an option available to me.
The deal was, it goes back, I get what I want in the future. Anyone who lives on or is familiar with the Isle of Man might understand the lack of use over Winter...

Winters no excuse though ....2.5k miles in now and most of those miles have been in pretty bad conditions .

I like this combo also, so many combo's to choose from, it would drive me nuts if I had to order a new one, what to choose, sometimes you have to see it for real and say, yes, thats what I like.
A lot of people will think I'm mad as I had the option of PTS but never went for it in the end. I did spend 2 days analyzing almost every colour but just couldn't settle on anything. I went to my OPC to look for inspiration and saw a GT Silver Turbo S and thought it looked perfect to me, so just went for it. I was preferring a lighter metallic colour anyway so all good.I do look at the various PTS cars now and they all do look great in their own way, but no regrets really.
Is there such a thing as PTS anxiety I wonder
