Oh that’s interesting, I paid my deposit for my January build Spyder before then.
Cars have to land on British soil ..... Sheerness Docks ... on / before December 31'st 2020 to be FREE of the dreaded Brexit Surcharge .My Spyder order is due to be Factory ready for shipping on 12'th December so may just be ok ! My Opc cannot guarantee hand over before Christmas but January 2021 would be ok under the circumstances .

I’ll take some interior photos tomorrow ... I’ve got a GT silver with Crayon contrast ... personally think it’s great. However mine was a cancelled order and if I was ordering from scratch I’d probably go red interior to get more of a contrast
More photos ...Edited by mrCraigyC on Friday 9th October 22:59
Just pondering on the GTS Interior package.......
I'm looking at some pics of the standard interior on a OPC GTS currently for sale and I don't really notice a big difference between that and the 'GTS interior' cars.
What do you actually get for your £3k apart from the coloured stitching? Starting to question whether it's actually worth it.....
Cheers

standard interior I think you will have a plastic dash which is kind of insulting in a car at this price! So GTS pack means you get that covered in leather, you get the carbon fibre inserts, then you get the stitching across the cabin.
if not bothered about colour stitching though, you can save some money by picking a leather dash and a nice insert, e.g. the brushed black aluminum, which is cheaper than the carbon

Personally not sure gts pack required this time round, was needed on the 981 to distance from S model but this is a 4.0 na f6 and in my book thats enough. Just order the leather interior and coloured belts. Something like this for £71k PMM2W5P3

Have you sat in one without extended leather? It looks so cheap considering the price. I would strongly urge you to go sit in one with and without, not decide solely with the configurator or photos. The GTS interior pack makes the car more desirable when it comes time to sell.

Maybe, maybe not the engine alone sets it apart from other 718(bar gt4/spyder) not some fancy stitching. As said the 981 needed it otherwise it's just a 3.4S.

It is not about the stitching, it is the premium feel one gets in the cabin with the leather (the stitching is a by-product). Hey if you like spending that amount of money on a new car only to have plastic everywhere in the cabin, and to not see the value for approx £2% more of the total car price that the extended leather option brings to the party, fair enough.
the focus on 'its all about the engine' will subside, 6 months, 6 days, whenever, and you'll be wanting where you sit to look like it justifies the price paid.
But hey, knock yourself out with cheap looking plastic dashes. Go for it.

So that's why I said opt for the leather interior instead !!!Hey if you like spending that amount of money on a new car only to have plastic everywhere in the cabin, and to not see the value for approx £2% more of the total car price that the extended leather option brings to the party, fair enough.
