I think it “might” be ok, if you had the wheels done in grey or silver....I actually like the blue and brown, but a comfort spec with a £2.5k stereo needs heated seats

Great car, but the F4Ts are vastly better value.

Man maths help me tonight! Lol.

Yep. Completely with you on that. And I'm 100% sure I'd prefer the power delivery in the F4Ts as well. But they sound like a Subaru. And that's not what I want from a Porsche!

You will be very disappointed in less than 9 years time?

Ha! Yes, a very good and fair point. All the more reason to enjoy the best sounding engines now.

Any news on build dates?
I'm still waiting for mine, Dec 2020 order.

That ICE ban will never come to fruition. We'll be enjoying our "primitive" technology for years to come. Even if we do have to use "carbon neutral" engineered fuel.

It will, efuels will only be used special cars produced before 2030 and there are plenty of them. Just like steam engines and horses before it, people move on pretty quickly.

Nope - mine was Dec 2020 order too. OPC extremely quiet, I've had to do all the chasing - all they will say is definitely in 2021. But the silence is making me look elsewhere, and I'm 90% sure I'll cancel.

Anyone cancelled an order and got their deposit back on here? Whilst I'm sure it won't go down brilliantly, how did the OPC respond?

You’ll get your deposit back pretty quickly, so long as your spec hasn’t locked down

I did, it was a deposit on a GT4 (I subsequently put one down for a GTS, with a different OPC who claimed they could get me the car earlier). I sent an email, had the money back in my account after just under 2 weeks.

Mine was an Oct 2020 order & you are getting more info than me because mine wont even commit to a year , I really want the car but like you the lack of info even negative stuff is starting to annoy now

Mid September for me and nothing from the OPC. frown

My contract at order is explicit that I can cancel and get my money back before lockdown date. I haven’t even got an allocation, never mind a lockdown / build date.

Unfortunately ice cars will be taxed and fuel duty will increase to aid the changeover.and to recoup lost revenue.
Theres already a whitepaper to increase high emmission cars road fund licence to over £1k a year (a gts is 244)
The cost will be too much for some .

When I ordered, I was told of a possible increase in the price of the car due to brexit - luckily this wasn’t the case and I’ve got it at the current price. If this price increase does come in, surely this can only be a good thing for people who’ve already got a car?

Looks like the OPC are reading this thread as they've either changed the wheels or had them painted black. I agree Silver or Platinum would have looked much better.

Others have commented on how odd the spec of this car is, but even weirder is that heated seats come as standard - and yet this car doesn't seem to have them. I would love to know the history of this. Who ordered it and why?

My Cararra White / Silver wheels GTS 4.0 looks understated in comparison.
