How many miles had that one done? Python - for me its veyr meh, and won't stay in fashion for long, same with shark blue. YMMV.
Just over 2k miles on it.

I had originally thought yellow was the colour for me but the one I took out was yellow and looked a bit washed out! For me, it needs to be a bright colour and doesn’t give many other options! The bright coloured early GT3’s are still in fashion. I don’t really see that being an issue.

Bright colour Porsche GT cars have always been sought after. If you had a pts voodoo blue 981 gt4 it would be worth a fair bit more than a white or silver one for example.

Always buy what you want, not what the next owner wants.

It is still there. Cracking spec but missing a few things like cruise and almost £10k up on what I have specced.

So I pick mine up this week (Python Green). I had a bit of spec creep which always happens and am excited about it.

The dealer asked if I wanted the tracker turning on, I didn’t realise it was optional. Do most insurance companies require this doing. I am over 50.

I don’t seem to have had tracker on my last few cars. Or do people use the Porsche app?

I'm with Porsche insurance (it's underwritten by Aviva) and I believe they require a tracker for > 75K value unless that has changed recently. The Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) is the Security Services part of Car Connect provided by Vodafone: https://connect-store.porsche.com/gb/en/p/bundle_c... Unless the price has changed I paid £476 for 24 months.

Quite a few insurers do not specify tracker even for £200k cars, NFU being one.

NFU have changed policy. They stipulate in my Multi car policy T&C on all cars valued over £75k that they won't pay out on a theft claim if no tracker is fitted.

I got plenty of quotes without a tracker on my GT4. Had to get it activated though as the only company I found with reasonable trackday cover included insisted on it. I wouldn't bother otherwise. Seems to me they just benefit the insurance company rather than the owner and in the past the level of discount offered was never anywhere near the expense of paying for the tracker. I was getting quotes <£400 without any no claims (as it's a second car) even with my wife and 2 sons added. The tracker cost me £80 to get activated then £260pa frown

That is a year old and nearly 10k miles. I added 14k of extras and it came to just under 80k with PDK, GTS interior etc.

That’s incredible if that is what they are asking.

Getting excited now it arrives with me next week.

Mine arrived at the dealer today. It was a week late due to transporter driver shortages (covid). Will collect next week.
