Each to their own, I picked up my Python Green one yesterday. The brightest car I have ever owned! I like it though. Nice to have a change.
Congrats, that's lovely. My spec locked on my GT4 on Tuesday, I've also gone for Python Green (with the Satin black wheels)! Fun cars should be fun colours

Just got a recall letter about the protective grills in the side air intakes. They are being changed to a tighter mesh version apparently.
Just got my letter too - in no rush will wait until my service is due in August seeing as I don't make a habit of throwing lit cigars out of my car window (which seems to be what the recall is about).detee said:
Love the car and the spec. A spec not far different from my own that I need to lock in by end of February if not sooner. Looking at GT silver. Will share my spec once i sort out one or two options. Re. the recall, in case you haven't seen my comment in the GT4 thread about this, I've spoken to my OPC's Service Manager and he says that for GT models, Spyder and 4.0 GTS the recall is not applicable and the notifications have been sent out in error. Porsche AG sent out a communication about this to him around 2pm yesterday afternoon.
So if your 4.0 GTS is booked in for the work to be done, I'd give your OPC another call before you have a wasted trip.

Ordered mine in June, had a call before Christmas to say it’ll be built on Feb 4th, and I therefore had to lock in my spec yesterday. Car should be delivered end of first week in March. Pretty Excited.

Well covid well and truly scuppered my collecting my car. It laid me low for quite a few days with a 10 day+ isolation period. It also scuppered the delivery of the car, I was told it was in its way to the dealer prior to new year. Crossed wires and delayed due to driver shortages. It only arrived last Thursday.
On this matter The dealer told me that they receive very scant information regards delivery, and when I called PGB they didn't know either….. helpful.
Finally delivered, and I am now better and fully negative, and have switched thoughts to collection. Hopefully this weekend coming, just finally received pictures.
Looks great, GB with platinum wheels. Fitted with Michelin PS4’s.

Folks
Does anybody notice much of a difference in the suspension when selecting either Sport or Sport +. In my previous 981 GTS it noticeably firmed things up (and even more so in my old 997 C2S before that) but in the 4.0 I really can't tell any difference other than the throttle map.
I have raised this with the OPC previously and apparently a setting wasn't enabled (or something) as part of the setup upon delivery and it was permanently set to sport, which they fixed - so I wonder if this has happened again or if its just too subtle anyway for me to notice.
