Looks great … novice time … how did you get the photo? I’ve got a GT4 being built in April and I’d love the same shot?Dr S said:
A real beauty! Congratulations and hope you have many fun miles with your new toy.
Did you consider going for black calipers at all? I was torn when speccing my Touring. I just find it even for Porsche standards a complete rip off to pay so much extra to get the standard colour calipers of all base models
Actually I was particularly pleased with the red calipers as a contrast against the bahama yellow. Also meant there was no temptation to spec PCCB as it would have clashed :-) Did you consider going for black calipers at all? I was torn when speccing my Touring. Here's some more pics - off to PPF tomorrow and pick up next week
Thanks! When I first caught sight of it, I will admit, part of me thought "I wish I'd gone for Signal Yellow"... that bit brighter and purer, but when the sun came out...wow! I'm so pleased with it. The guys at the dealership thought it was amazing
And just why people are so down on full natural leather I just don't get. The feel is so much more high quality (the smell too) in the cabin vs. a normal GTS interior. And it's much darker brown than that pictures suggest, almost like a coffee bean. Looks fabulous against the Bahama yellow
Gentian blue is a good strong colour, you'll love that.

Your car is unique, looks fantastic and I'm chuffed for you that you're so happy how it's turned out! I wish you many happy miles! Part of the fun must be seeing Porsche "experts" trying to figure out what colour it is.And just why people are so down on full natural leather I just don't get. Funnily enough, I got the keys to ours for a few minutes on Monday at our OPC. I've gone for the GTS interior in Crayon and the first thing I noticed when I opened the door was the smell! That new car/leather/Sport-Tex smell. Great that you've gone against the flow slightly with the natural leather, bravo!
I wouldn't be able to walk past to your car without spending 15 minutes wandering round it and peering through the windows!
In summary, well done Sir!

Mine arrived at the dealer a couple of days ago. collecting it next Thursday. Very excited, and glad it got delivered before the current disruption began.
It's not the most adventurous colour, but i really like it, and will be bob on as a daily driver.
I am very pleased for you, although a little envious. I had to let go of my 718 GTS 4.0 (Feb build) for health reasons. It's not the most adventurous colour, but i really like it, and will be bob on as a daily driver.
Sorry - very boring question.
Have got my phone connected via cable. Car Play operating just fine.
I would like to have Waze give me verbal alerts about speed cameras. The app defaults its "Play Sound via" setting to "device default" as soon as the cable's plugged in, but the alerts don't come out on the speaker.
The other app options (which I can't use anyway, as the app defaults as above) are "play as bluetooth phone call" or "play on phone speaker".
I assume I should be trying to persuade Waze to stick with "play as bluetooth phone call" as that technique works fine in my Macan that has the a later version of the PCM.
Thanks very much for any relevant help that anyone can give.

Can you please confirm exactly what app you use to get the photo, and how it works ie input order no, spec code or whatever. Many thanksIt's not the most adventurous colour, but i really like it, and will be bob on as a daily driver.

It's via the my Porsche app and your centre needs to be enrolled in the programme, not all are currently. Ask your SA if they're enrolled and if so ask for the access code. It comes up under "my garage" once enrolled. Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
