Yep, the same would apply to PDK Spyder/GT4 so I can see why it might be delayed. Who knows, maybe they'll decide it's too quick so it may never come with PDK and they'll save it for the GT4 RS only?
The Taycan is really getting full backing from Porsche everywhere - manufacturing, marketing etc.

There's a clue in the Spyder Brochure / Book .... Page 36 under ' Transmission ' which mentions ' Paddles ' .
This does not appear on the Porsche Website or Configurator ..... must be a ' printing error ' ........ !!!
Here's the spec I'm considering: http://www.porsche-code.com/PLSJE750
Key questions for me:
Key questions for me:
- Colour (of course!). Between Gentian Blue, Python Green, or GT Silver (with Red roof and Red contrast GTS interior).
- PASM vs SPASM. I'm thinking as a road car (weekend trips / occasional commuting) the PASM would be better suited. But is this a "downgrade" given that SPASM is included in the base price?
- Heated Steering Wheel. This is really "buyer's remorse" when I did not spec this on my daily. If it is just about warm enough for the roof down, would it ever be needed?

Interesting spec, thanks for posting.
I’m really not convinced GTS interior pack represents value at £3,300. Sat in both yesterday and found the non equipped cars just as pleasant.
Not sure the crested arm rest is essential either.
Nice car though and would certainly stand out.
The interior options confuse me. All I really want is some contrast stitching on the base trim but that doesn’t seem possible. I want to lift the interior trim away from all black so happy to consider options to save a few k. I’m really not convinced GTS interior pack represents value at £3,300. Whilst the heated part of the package is debatable, I find the multifunction part really useful.Key questions for me:

If you just want contrasting stitching then I think you need to add the leather interior option.CardiffTam said:

You can get crayon contrast stitching with sportex, add the leather trim or black aluminium and get a similar look for 1.5k less. Plus for my use where I'll be shipping our 5 year old to school each morning it's probably going to look a lot better after 3 years of muddy feet What a load of old bks. I like Alcantara and I want a nice bit of stitching and embroidery on the headrests and it costs me over £3k. What I don’t get is why they have two different options for GTS Pack and then when you pick one you must pick the other one. Why not make it one option?

Apologies if this has been answered before but can anyone confirm if the 718 GTS 4.0 is a limited run production car?
I’ve just watched a YouTube video stating that without prior Porsche buying history you won’t be able to buy one?
Is this true?
Thanks
It a stock car to order, an OPC would love your money. I’ve just watched a YouTube video stating that without prior Porsche buying history you won’t be able to buy one?

Yep, plenty of OPCs fighting for business on them.
I’ve had to revise my specification having realised that the folding buckets are not height adjustable.

Annoyingly seem you can’t have extended leather with the carbon interior pack? So I’m back to a plastic dash which as I said in an earlier post is Ok with me.
I added carbon interior pack to tie in the much more obvious carbon of the seats.

Doesn't the carbon interior pack form part of GTS Interior pack? It did on my 981 GTS. Like this;I’ve had to revise my specification having realised that the folding buckets are not height adjustable.

I know for a fact my OPC SA will take a deposit today from anyone for a 4.0 GTS, as I'm sure any OPC will.
Not sure on that. My OPC said they are only getting 18 (I think) of these this year. Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
