I have a heated steering wheel in my 5 series and it is brilliant, so I specced it on my GTS. Unfortunately it’s not very good with race tex. barely gets warm and is poorly located to the point I’ve accidentally turned it on a few times.
Wow! With how the button is so tucked away I am amazed you can turn it on accidentally.Mine is quite toasty. There's certainly in no doubt as to its being on. (Leather rim )
Today's observations
1. The indicator "tone" is quite quiet. On a couple of occassions I've missed it, a few more miles and I'll have adapted. I don't want to be "that person" bimbling along with and inappropriate turn indication permanently on...
2. Other driver's have a really positive reaction. I'm getting let in and a couple of "thumbs ups". Never had this in the 911.

That’s quite an achievement… my experience in the 992 is similar to yours, in fact recently fitted dash cam as find some people deliberately act like ***** which is definitely down to the car!Today's observations

I am after a leather rim with multifunction but it is just not clear in new configurator.

Observation in my BGTS 23my. If I set up individual mode to include PSE...it doesn't remember it beyond one change of mode afterwards. Anyone else notice that? And the box is really unticked when I go back to check. First world problem I know, but...
Hi Pete. I’ve got exactly the same in my CGTS 4.0. Bit annoying but I haven’t done anything about it yet. 997boy said:
If you have the memory function, comes with the 18 way and 14 way seats. These options might have to be saved to your key.
I tried to add the battery to the display dial and it would save this until I saved this on my key.
Could be wrong, probably are
Being lazy can you run through how to access the battery status screen? Not sure my Sept 19 GTS has this function or not.I tried to add the battery to the display dial and it would save this until I saved this on my key.

And the only PDK is Wolverhampton's "highly individual spec" Frozen Berry example. AKA The Tutti Fruity
I'd not looked at the interior photos of that one before, it's got a bit of everything.
Exactly re only one PDK. Normally there are on average 10 or more cars of which only 30 to 40% or so are PDK. Will be interesting to see how things go moving forward and how well residuals hold up. I'd not looked at the interior photos of that one before, it's got a bit of everything.

Only 5 used GTS 4.0 on the Porsche website. That is the lowest number I have seen over the past 12 months or so. No wonder my OPC said they were interested buying mine back.
What kind of offer have they made? And how old is the car? Do you have any idea of the mark up they plan to put on it? Understand you may not want to disclose figures so ‘near list’ or a PM would be ok. Mine have made an offer to me yesterday but it’s pretty lowball imo for a nearly new PTS car with PDK.

They did have a (manual) python green BGTS 4.0, had a brief drive 2 weeks ago and should be with me next week Can't waitI'd not looked at the interior photos of that one before, it's got a bit of everything.

Aventurine is back on the UK configurator however, I've yet to hear of anyone getting past the freeze point with the box still ticked.
Aventurine seems to be fully back on the configurator and I emailed my dealer who confirmed. I don't want the heated steering wheel as I don't like the thumb wheel for the computer, I think the stalk is so much better. However many on here seem to prefer the now standard heated multi-function wheel. Am I making an error not getting the standard heated wheel?
Also interesting comments on the Bose. Is the wise money on going standard then upgrading tweeters to Burmester? Assuming standard set up has tweeters?

On the configurator the GT sports leather wheel appears to be a £0 option and it does not say it’s MF or heated. I have an appointment at my OPC next week and have asked him to find out the wheel options for me.I don't want the heated steering wheel as I don't like the thumb wheel for the computer, I think the stalk is so much better. I am also going Bose. I had standard in my 981 and it was very very weak. I have Bose in my current 992 which is to my ears is good, though I know it’s a very different car and speaker set up. Bose in the 718 does seem to get a fair bit of criticism - however I think like you for any upgrade opportunities having the Bose as a base might make things easier. Just can not justify the Burmester, I can buy a very respectable home HiFi for that price!
