Yes, the key thing is not alot (any?) competition at that price point in terms of mid-engined cars...

This ones around the corner from me and trying to resist taking it for a test drive (not really my color as not into the maintenance required with metallics)..

Love that... Shame the stitching is not yellow inside. I have been speaking to the dealer as the lack of Porsche warranty worry's me.
The 5 owners with only 9k miles would be an equal worry especially at that price ££.

Factor in the lack of Porsche warranty only for the brave or stupid.
Here's the number plate if it's anyone is looking (and my R next to it smile ).

NI plate so useless for checking MOT history though.

I thought the advert said England registered? I guess it went over after the vehicle was first registered?

The car was for sale a few weeks prior privately now I see the reg at £71,995 if I remember correctly. (Guess it’s SOR)

Sorry, my mistake as it must be English Reg as I can see the MOT history online ...I've modified my original post.

Do you recall where you saw it for sale Privately?

The dealers around the corner and it's an open lot so have just seen it from the outside but it's definitely 'nice'.

Would have been a great buy at closer to £70k private

If its on SOR I guess there might be a deal to be had... Plus a great drive back for someone in the UK.

@cossers is your man!

Interesting what Google images throws up when searching the plate. The car was at George McMillans coffee day in June here in NI. McMillan stamps probably in the service book too.

It's already in the UK - it would be a drive back to GB.

I’d say it’s a bargain anyway. If you want a Porsche warranty on that though I think you would need to change the tyres for cup 2’s as mad as that is.

The extended warranty is void even if you have N rated PS4S?

If Ashgoods are having trouble shifting their red one at £70k then the white one might need to be closer to £65k to shift...

It’s in Inverness though. Seriously inconvenient for most potential buyers.

Obviously some people will travel to the ends of the earth to buy a car, but I don’t think it’s that many. So: niche car, niche market, further reduced by seller’s location.

PS4S are now available N rated in GT4 sizes so they are not a warranty voiding issue. I would suspect OPC servicing given it should have only needed servicing twice. 4 Owners is average there are some on AT with 6 owners.

I didn’t know that about the tyres thank you. I think these type of cars do have a few owners as people try them for a short while then fancy a change. Or were flipped early on so lots of owners then.

Fake number plate. probably a scam. Beware. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Comes up as a 2016 3.8 Cayman - not sure why you think it’s fake?

More likely IMO the vanity plate has been taken off, that change has been registered with the DVLA, and the original plate is back on it.
