If looking to buy one of these low/delivery mileage 981 at this stage… I’d be wanting a full inspection, full up to date PSH, …. I’d expect that all bushes and suspension arms etc are in as new condition and everything pretty much corrosion free.
But the cost of this will be much less than a single major service of a 991.2 GT3 ...

How much corrosion are you expecting on one given they're only 7yrs old and most if not all are kept garaged and seldon used?

More the fact that the state of the car should most definitely reflect the mileage.... I'm talking salt corrosion and metallurgy rather than huge rust with holes in the body.
Its is a very low/delivery mileage car - it should look like one and as thought it has been cared for as such....(dry storage, etc, etc)

No, never driven.

Well, 310 miles ... and about to have its 12 year service ... so the ultimate Garage Queen.

But a real work of art ... a 987 Spyder.

I feel guilty if one of my cars sits for more than a handful of days without getting driven, I'd be in a straight jacket by now with that sitting around biggrin

It has had multiple owners, I'm just the latest, but it won't be driven much by me.

Sometimes works of art just need looking at and enjoying ... and the occasional service smile

Fair enough, but I think I'd be looking to get a 2nd cheaper high miles one maybe to also enjoy the great driving experience scratchchin

That's exactly what the first owner did. This is the car that he chose not to drive ... since I have a number of interesting cars (which have been my lifetime passion), my mileage can be shared out appropriately. The luxury of retirement !

Would 6 previous owners put you off? The spec I’m after is LWBs, chrono, leather dash and red so this looks to fit the bill...

Nice, very close in colour and spec to mine.
The number of owners wouldn’t put me off, particularly as it’s an OPC car. There will be those who will swerve anything beyond 2 owners but if it’s the right car, full PSH etc.. I’d get after it.

Carmine Red is a deeper darker red… I prefer it but I’m biased I guess.

So does anyone know anything about the Blue Cat S one for sale on Autotrader?

I think it’s been for sale for a little while and I understand why people would be more than hesitant about it.
