Full marks for the owner having the balls to do a stripped out spec. Even though most won't be into it.

It would have made more sense to add in the CS cage etc if the intention was for track use. It's a weird combination of spec

I did nearly 600 miles in my Cayman in one weekend FFS - never turned radio on BTW

Is that stripped out spec about as close as you'll get to a 981 version of the 987 Cayman R?

That car deserves to be used.
Hopefully new owner will surface and post their adventures. Congrats whomever you may be.

Clever pricing by Ashgoods. Pitch it just below what people expect and it gets attention.

They could have priced it higher and still ended up only fetching the price they sold it for today (and wasted alot more of their time in the process).

Yep. Priced to move.
Could easily have had 12k miles on it and sold for the same. It long ago so few miles would have been a stupid irrational premium.
As it is new owner can eventually drive it with no concern of affect of mileage on value.

The buyers played a blinder IMO. It's such an unusual spec as to attract attention if it ever goes back up for sale.

As I commented above, I view it as a modern Cayman R if the Cayman R owners hadn't put the options back in.

It's the sign of a proper drivers' car that switching on the radio does not even cross your mind. Never use it in my 3s either

Hands free phone can be quite useful, I'm guessing no radio means no speakers, perhaps even no wiring ??

Nope, I suspect there'll be nothing relating to the PCM fitted to the car.

What was the price out of interest? It's hidden now.

Edit: 66k.

Very low considering mileage and some of the spec. However, a lack of radio makes it an awkward one. It'd make more sense if this has the Clubsport pack as has already been said. Right now it just seems a little confusing.

It is a strange one that say only 10% of potential buyers would even look at let alone buy.

But that small group would be all over it as shown by the quick sale. They had lots of calls if their FB comments can be believed..

Some people still want a stripped back road car

I still think that's a solid price considering what's going on ATM
