The 981 has a scream that can't replicated IMO.
Would an aftermarket exhaust not get it close? I heard the JCR exhaust on the 718 and it sounded pretty good. Aftermarket exhausts can change the 718's sound, depending how much of the exhaust you're prepared to change. Removing OPFs is proabbly an issue for a road car though, and the JCR car with full exhaust mods is LOUD.

Are the £50k 981 gt4s about yet or was this just wishful thinking from the few ?
I think there was only person brave enough to suggest that and of course as most said to him it did not happen, if anything the 718Gt4 prices have gone up a bit and that has caused 981 GT4 prices to stabilise or dare i say it increase in the last month. Also lack of cars for sale has surely helped too But either way I think the 981 GT4 is a cracking car that can be run pretty much for little depreciation over the next 8 months as people will want a fun car after all this lockdown

Not seen him around in a while. I miss the arguments But either way I think the 981 GT4 is a cracking car that can be run pretty much for little depreciation over the next 8 months as people will want a fun car after all this lockdown

I would guess he was taking a break as he seemed to do that around New Year, then came back as himself briefly, then went again and subsequently re-appeared as Rupertlambo.
When I thought things could not get stranger they do. Maybe must be off on his hols in winter surely cardigankid said:
Is anyone aware of any new GT4's or build slots currently available at OPC's?
