Top sleuthing! biggrin

I wonder if this is just for the last few cars in the system, or whether it will be a full model year?
I guess more allocations will be made available for the OPCs to dish out to those on the waiting list.

It just means people on the waiting list may still have a chance to get one over next 12 months or so.

As you say, it may not be a for a full model year though.

Hi.
Deposit was at the end of January.
Spec was locked yesterday.
OPC Portsmouth.
Great news for you. Portsmouth were happy for me to put a deposit down end of Feb for a GT4 as were told more slots available so hopefully I may be behind you in the queue and will get a call soonish. Fingers crossed.

Interesting, how do you know it's MY23?

I see PCCBs are back on the table too, as is PTS.
I received a call for a June build yesterday!

I spec'd PCCB via the updated configurator this morning but I've just had a call from the dealer saying that they're still not available! frown

Has anyone been able to add PCCB's since the MY23 change?

thanks!

June is still MY22 isn’t it? Hence not being available. I thought the changeover was late August / early September after the summer factory shutdown.

I was chatting to my local OPC today and they had just received a much larger updated GT4 allocation than they'd been anticipating so several customers got good news today. Couple this with ceramics returning to the configurator and it would seem that the GT4 production outlook is improving suddenly...

Spoke to my OPC today and he said there is a small chance of a GT4 allocation but the likelihood of getting a Spyder is almost non-existent. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck sourcing a Spyder (as I'd be jumping ship from a Boxster GTS)?

That use to be the case a long time ago but the new model year starting in may/June has been around since at least 2011, I know this as my old 987 spyder was built may/June 2011 but was a 2012 MY.
So any cars arriving June onwards I suspect will be 2023MY

No call yet from my OPC and I’m apparently next in line.

I’m driving both the manual and PDK on Friday at the PEC so hopefully with perfect timing they will call on the afternoon! Still going to be a tough decision which to choose!?!

Interesting Porsche have raised the basic prices for the 718 GT4RS to £113000 GT4 to £80500 and Spyder to £79000.

I assume I have a better chance of winning the actual lottery than finding a PTS Spyder allocation as a non-Porsche owner? wobble

Should have added my local OPC dealer also made the point, widely acknowledged on here already it seems, that Spyders are still super hard to come by and that despite the increase in GT4 allocations there was no change for Spyders so far...

Seems that way, placed a deposit last summer and still no sign of a Spyder allocation. A good number of GT4s allocated by that OPC in the meantime.

Hi.
My car goes into build in June.
The configurator has now changed to include rear camera as standard.
My car will not be affected by the change,or the £1750 price increase.

Had the dates through from my OPC...

13th may build start
27th may build complete

Any ideas on how long from build complete to actually collecting the car?

I can't bloody wait!

Ordinarily 4-6 weeks, but with the world the way it currently is that might not be realistic.

Mines from Hatfield too!

Were the initial timings for build start/complete they gave you accurate?

Fingers crossed mine is the same

Small slip when it was supposed to be in build, and wasn’t, but otherwise all good. They’re at the mercy of the dates from the Mothership like all dealers.

Nice.

What spec you go for?
