The problem with PTS as I see it is, in the most (not everyone!), in this country PTS is a fashion thing rather than an individual thing. Right now everybody appears to be obsessed with Dark Greens or Dark Purples, so everyone currently ordering PTS are in fact just copying each other rather than exploiting the whole available palette. In the US they are far more adventurous, a chap on Rennlist has just ordered a Mint Green GT4. smile

Utter nonsense. My Ultraviolet PTS was the first purple GT4 in the UK. At the time there was one other worldwide. I wasn't copying anyone. I chose Ultraviolet because I loved the colour on the GT3RS and it is a proper "in your face" colour suitable for a GT car. I don't care what colours other people choose or what is fashionable. Or how wide the colour palette is. If I'm specifying a £100K car I choose what I want. If you want mint green then that's up to you.
Errrrr, ultraviolet isn’t dark purple, so you can come off your high horse as you clearly fall into the “not everyone!” camp I stated. Amethyst type hues are dark purple which is currently very fashionable, along with the dark greens.

This is quite a combo
Yellow stitching, red dials, green trim. No wonder he is flipping it!

More info on it

https://germancarsforsaleblog.com/2022-porsche-718...

"The frantic typing in the description for the car probably explains why this car was ordered in such a bizarre configuration. Just to run it down real quick, you have Python Green with gold wheels, black leather, green plastics, yellow seatbelts and trim, and red gauges. That is too many colors. Way too many colors. I can’t imagine the amount of cringing the dealer was doing when submitting this order, then asking for a massive down payment so the buyer didn’t bail and they’d be stuck trying to sell this thing.

It does seem like there is some regret, as now the owner is asking $53,000 over sticker price – which is just comical. Yes, some of these do trade slightly over sticker, but $178,000 for this one and it doesn’t even have sport bucket seats or carbon-ceramic brakes? I think it is going to sit a while."

Well, after a long 8 month wait since order taken, pick up tomorrow at 3pm… weather looking good but max 4k rpm for 1500 miles which I always follow.
Plan is to take her for a Sunday jaunt down to Sandbanks and lunch at Lazy Jacks to get a bit of initial mileage racked up.
Fantastic. Perfect day for it. You must be very excited!

Weekly update today (5th May) from my dealer, which finally included some date update information... my CP8 date this morning has apparently moved from 11th March (yes you read that correctly!) to 23rd May.

What that means bearing in mind the car has been AWOL for nigh on 2 months with nobody knowing when/if/how anything will happen, who knows, I guess time will tell. read

Have you seen the screen ? If not ask them to email you screen grabs of the Porsche system
Copy of the internal system as of yesterday. Since that CP8 date change last week, it looks like things might be finally moving along, albeit slipped a few more days to the 27th form the 23rd. spin

Very nice, congrats. Have you got any more pics from different angles?

I was considering getting another set of GT4 alloys (with PS4S) in silver and it would be good to see what they look like from different angles on shark blue.

I quite like that - thanks for sharing.

I can see you also have RSNV wing risers - still a bit undecided on these.

Also, where did you get your front number plate from and do you know the size?

Are Porsche doing your ppf? Do you mind me asking the cost? A few places recommended near me (Lincolnshire) but not sure if it's worth factory or Topaz doing it. Cost dependent.
