Very cool, hey. Enjoy it. Hopefully not too much rain. Think mine is on the Dunlop tyres so I'll be keen to see what they're like.
Yes mine is on the Dunlops too from what i can tell from the photos of manufacture... likewise enjoy the pickup day! hope we get a good spell to enjoy it... feels like these last few weeks and now days of the countdown are about 2 years wilson45 said:

You're not wrong. I'm going to get mine tomorrow now. Let's hope the rain disappears for the afternoon! Very exciting. wilson45 said:

that looks super... my pickup date keeps getting changed ... who really knows why.. but now I am wondering whether worth to wait until Sep 1st so as to make the new 72 plate... for the sake of a week my head tells me wait, for the sake of a week my heart says get the car !!wilson45 said:

My spec locks next week and even though my gut is telling me to go with the safe option of crayon, I keep contemplating changing to Arctic Grey as it will be a rare colour if production ends at some point in the near future.
I’ve found in pictures it looks great in some light, although in others it looks light blue which I am unsure of. Hence why it would be ideal to see the colour in person.

Email from my OPC this morning re my questioning around the PDLS+ delete...
'Sorry I did not get back to you yesterday, but we had some issues with the Porsche System, the great news is this morning, the system started to work, and we have swapped the standard light package to part number XEW which is the black PDLS xenon’s as requested.'
Do the PDLS & PDLS+ have the same appearance?

PDLS and PDLS+ look very similar. They both have the 4 dots and black inside.
Two very different looks IMO.The four dots on Xenon PDLS are narrow and surround the single cone of Xenon light.
LED PDLS+ has 3 lighting elements and the 4 dots are not actually dots but are narrow LED pieces at the very edge of the unit.
Xenon PDLS also has a smoked lens, LED PDLS+ is totally clear.
The LED PDLS+ unit is very complex:

Has anyone heard of any GT4 allocations beyond the end of this year yet?
Obviously the rumours are that these last few slots at the end of the year will be the last GT4 production slots.
Or is it still too early to tell? When do OPC’s get their 2023 allocations?
I'm genuinely wondering if I'll get a car - I put my deposit down in May and I guess it's highly unlikely I'll get an allocation before the end of the year. The OPC did warn me that putting a deposit down doesn't guarantee a slot.Obviously the rumours are that these last few slots at the end of the year will be the last GT4 production slots.

I can't see why they would stop making them though, unless they stop producing all Cayman/Boxster models? I thought the EV replacement was still some way off - I haven't seen much in the press about them or pics of the test mules?

Arctic grey was absolutely stunning. Would take it everyday over crayon. You wouldn’t be disappointed.
