Like I say it depends what your use of the car is and how long you are keeping it.
Cruise Bose Speed limiter Auto dim and light design pack do little to enhance value.
The external light upgrade is expensive relative to any added value unless you do alot of night driving.
Thanks Av, I have taken on board your comments and saved some cash. I plan to keep this car for many years as expect electric cars will take over in a few years. Cruise Bose Speed limiter Auto dim and light design pack do little to enhance value.

I like comment about residuals then you spec python green? Its a marmite colour and you will limit your buying market when you come to sell .yes an opc will take it but at trade values.
They are having trouble selling the release colours of the 718 lava orange and miami blue.
The yellow 981 gts on sale at a dealer took ages to sell and was reduced quite a bit.
If its a keeper then no worries.
That’s why I am asking for advice Ted. What colour would have the highest residuals in your opinion? I was planning on getting Python in the GTS but also love Gentian and Miami Blue. They are having trouble selling the release colours of the 718 lava orange and miami blue.

If you're planning to keep the car, spec it how you want and enjoy it to the full (do this anyway tbh but especially true if it's a long-term keeper)!Tony718 said:

Your spec looks good. I like the green, it will stand out. If only they did lizard green. I’m was tempted to liquid Wrap mine.Tony718 said:

It will still be a lot of car if you spec to £90k and its best to have the car you want particularly if you buy with the intention of keeping.
Mine came out at £96k plus1st yr road tax £2070 and 1st reg fee £55
My spec PLKN7JG0 and I'm quite happy with the car, Mine was an early car and I would have preferred it if less people had followed my paint colour but guess it is popular as the majority think it looks good. I sure do
Wow that’s a stunning spec Geoff! Car looks amazing! Here is my final code PM1MNVG3 after making some cuts. It’s a November build for December delivery. Mine came out at £96k plus1st yr road tax £2070 and 1st reg fee £55

I nearly bought a Viper Green 981 GT4 from a guy who lived near me when in Nottingham but I was a bit late getting back to him and making my mind up, he also was the first owner of my RS. The car looked great and it was pretty much a one off I would not hesitate buying a bright green car. If you like it and want it, buy it. It will be your car and it needs to be right for you not someone else.MannyLon said:

Thanks Manny, think green is great too. Will sleep on it and decide in the morning. This is the spec if I go gentian and £85k plus RFL.

It’s interesting what’s important to one man isn’t important to another and when spec’ing mine (Oct build) I’ve gone for what I want/will make use of. So that meant Buckets, cruise (why such an expensive car doesn’t have as standard is a disgrace!), park sensor, LED headlights - live in the country and drive a lot at night. Leather dash (stock looks like a 90’s Ford Fiesta ) a few other wee bits and pieces meaning £83.5K odd which is More than enough in my head at least! Despite not planning tracking I Would have had Clubsport if it was sensible price but at near £3K its taking the proverbial and adding weight I don’t need. Personally don’t understand the black calliper thing as red on steels is a Porsche trademark and they look great, to my eye anyway.

I’m hoping to get a 718 GT4 PDK allocation when they become available. But I only have limited history of buying a used 718 GTS.
Do you think they will be highly sought after?
Yep my OPC will only be getting 3 or 4 max.Do you think they will be highly sought after?
No one knows how long production will continue into next year.
Personally I would go for a manual if you are offered one rather than be disappointed not getting a PDK.
