Wow green with sand interior, I really would very much like that myself.
I really mean it, first time I have considered changing my current Boxster in years .
May I ask the cost please, I would prefer manual, heated seats , sports exhaust, sport tail pipe and full leather.

What about agate? One of my favourite Porsche colours
I looked at a few Agate's in the dealership - 911 and Macan they had in that colour. Looked dull to me to be honest, but maybe on 718 with the right wheels it could leave a different impression?

read you own posts then choose red.

1: Carmine Red (and even Guards Red) are my fav. Choose that then !

2: Don't have a garage so looking mainly for colour that stays clean most. Not black then !!

3: In other words, looks like best candidates Jet Black. er see above !
Guards Red or Carmine Red (+£1658) ?
I like both on pictures/videos, but can't figure out what they would like on 718 GTS in real life.
Also how practical these colours are for frequent driving, including parking in not most secure places.

What's a typical cost to spray in those colours it if you don't mind the question.
Nearly 6k at Iain Litchfields' place at Tewkesbury.
I saw your GTS on Instagram but didn’t realise it was your old car. Is the respray a full paint job or the PPF spray he does?

GT Silver for me. Park anywhere and blend in fairly easily. Any black will be a nightmare to keep clean as already stated.

The green does look good though.

It's the PPS that he does, he does all the door shuts and jams and you d never know , until you open the front hood...it 's still orange underneath.

stealthy black all the way.

PS no replies from doomdayers saying Black is terrible to maintain. All colours are. Just that black is perhaps 20% more effort. It is not like all other colours are immune from dirt and a breeze to keep looking immaculate.

Not mine, might I add. But I am a fan of the colour and it's what I mostly spec whilst playing with the configurator. Yes, I think those are satin platinum wheels. If i was in the market for a GTS4.0, this would be the colour for sure. Any day over jet black.
That's my car. My last three cars have been black. As others have said: black cars are only ever clean for the 5 minutes after you cleaned them but they look amazing for those 5 minutes. I absolutely love AG - very subtle yet interesting (changes shade depending on light) but stays clean. And yes: satin platinum wheels - allegedly prone to chipping but haven't experienced it yet,

I am now not sure about AG - for some reason can't picture myself wanting to drive it often.

How about GT Silver with the 20 inch Carrera Sport wheels? I believe those wheels are silver too.
I wanted to avoid silver because my current 987 is silver but... it's a great colour which is bright and classic, stays clean for long but also not too much in your face, no?
I'm opting for standard black interior with some alcantara bits and black brushed alluminium trim. Get 3 shades of black inside, and a bit of a standard plastic silver - not a lot of room to be creative with the standard interior.

Although I'd love an Alcantara steering wheel which is not available with leather interior for some reason

The easiest shades for looking good without constant washing are silvers, paler greys and possibly Aventurine Green, which is grey/green.

GT Silver and Platinum for the wheels is a very low maintenance, great looking scheme. I had Rhodium/Platinum/Black leather on a 981 I had for a while and it was very easy to look after.

If I was ordering a new car today, I would give AG very serious consideration.

Not a myth if it's true - and one of my cars is black, before you ask.

Shows pollen and dust in summer, watermarks when it rains and grime/salt in winter.

Washed and polished it looks great, but it doesn't last.

The silver one above with the fat-spoked carerra silver alloys looks very smart and very Porsche. But with the black + dark red interior. And red roof if you want to break up the colour outside and make it look like one of the previous-gen specials clap

Had 4 cars in black, so have the experiences to back it up. My agate grey Cayman is much better in this respect though.

The problem is that the red non full alcantara interior doesn’t allow alcantara steering wheel (which I like). Plus it adds much more leather which I’d rather avoid. This model is not the best in terms of options available.
