That's my car. My last three cars have been black. As others have said: black cars are only ever clean for the 5 minutes after you cleaned them but they look amazing for those 5 minutes. I absolutely love AG - very subtle yet interesting (changes shade depending on light) but stays clean. And yes: satin platinum wheels - allegedly prone to chipping but haven't experienced it yet,
Wow, I saw this pictures of yours and I absolutely love it. I had to register to add compliments. What a great choice. AG looks very fresh but the satin platinum wheels just add the cherry on a cake! They don't look as good on the configurator so thank you so much for posting this!
I hope there are more pictures of this combo.

Thanks for the kind words! The car makes me smile all the time - both looking at and driving (although there hasn't been nearly enough driving recently what with winter weather and lock down.)What a great choice. That looks amazing! My 992 in Aventurine has just completed build, I've not even seen the colour in the flesh!DMC2 said:

You're going to love it. Here's a pic from last October when I was getting some work done at Elite Car Care and there was a AG 992 in the opposite bay.Edited by Al_Ra on Tuesday 23 March 16:42

Thank you for additional pictures, Al_Ra. Very very nice and clean look. Would it be possible to see one from the rear end? I'd like to remove the Cayman GTS badge and see what it looks like.
I’m defo missing something. I had a black 911 and then 981 boxster and honestly never noticed this ‘instantly dirty’ phenomenon. I’m in the urban myth camp on this one. I would however say I wouldn’t go for it again on a Boxster as you lose some of the shape definition particularly on the sides.

I doubt a urban myth. Depends where you live maybe. Straight on to a road where I live and filthy in 2 mins with dead bugs and grime. This is after a few days of pretty normal weather maybe bit of light rain nothing more. The Jet Black paint on my 981 Boxster was possibly the softest paint I've ever had on a car, only had to look at it and swirls and scratches developed. Think it was even scratched with mega clean microfibre cloths.
On the other hand the Obsidian Black (metallic black like Jet Black) paintwork on my C63 was tough as nails, and it was a daily too, I wouldn't buy another Jet Black Porsche.
